Bodybugg users report here!
It looked to me like they all did, except during the weigh-in. At first I thought it was only the Blue Team, but then I saw it on all players.

Dr Rumbaut in Mexico
Awesome experience. I would do it again with him in a heartbeat. In fact, I wish I could go back for my fills just to see them all again.

Tell me your story I can't pick a MX surgeon!!
Dr. Rumbaut here. Would do it again in a heartbeat with him and his team.

Mexico...here I come!!!!! (I think!!)
You will be fine! The whole team is wonderful. And re: the passport issue. My understanding is that has been suspended because they are so far behind in processing passport applications. Definitely check with the airline/travel agency before going, though.

Movies that make fun of fat people
I have a BMI over 50, but I honestly love Shallow Hal. Some of the jokes are stupid, fat jokes but I thought the overall storyline was good.

John Evander Couey...
I agree. He should have to live with all the inmates and deal with the consequences. Sick fuck.

eating more at dinner than the rest of the day
Sorry! I suffer from the can eat more at dinner thing, too. Very frustrating really. I've just come to accept it.

Count me as one who loves it! Now if we can work on "could of" and "should of."

Banded Teachers Talk - BTT
It's best to start off with the structures since that is the foundation for cooperative learning. Then, I'd attend their Multiple Intelligences one. I heard Win-Win discipline was good, but I never got to attend.

Almost all of them. Great ideas.

Headaches from "red" drinks?
I started the Crystal Light thread. Their Fruit Punch gives me headaches if I drink a lot of it.

A thread for super-sized bandsters - starting BMI over 50?
I was on a clear liquids only pre-op diet for TEN DAYS. Pure hell! I didn't cheat once. Even though it got really hard, it made the post-op diet feel like heaven.

Steady losers ;-)
PCOS here, too... Went on Mirena today because I was sick of Provera. F'ing painful experience!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway... I think my 3rd fill is working wonderfully! Since I've stayed away from alcohol, I've been losing a pound a day. I am losing the bit I gained so I'm not ahead, but I feel positive about it. I finally feel what restriction feels like. I love it!

Road to "TWOterville"
I have a ways to go, but for once I actually feel like I'm going to make it to TWOterville. I decided to finally read this thread to stay inspired. Thanks!!!

I haven't had it a year either. However, I do think there's a difference between those who have had their band close to a year and aren't losing and those who are three weeks out and think they belong here.

Banded Teachers Talk - BTT
I did my 10 day pre-op clear liquid diet in December... Right before Christmas... At a school... Plenty of food around... It was harder then anything I've done. AND, I didn't tell anyone I was getting surgery. I just told them I was trying to be good on my diet. I didn't get much pressure but it was HARD. I figured if I could make it through that I could make it through anything. It definitely made the liquid diet post-op much easier to take. I made sure I had plenty of shakes with me and I left any room that had food. If I did eat with someone, I just drank my shake.

Mexico Doctor
I highly recommend Dr. Rumbaut. I can't answer about the problems, because (thankfully) I haven't had any problems. I hope I never do!!!

Steady losers ;-)
Got my 3rd fill today. Probably crazy to do since Saturday I'm leaving for Key West for a week. But, I really need to get this weight loss thing going and why waste two weeks I figured. The fill went great. I went from 1.8 to 2.2. Right now liquids are fine. I'm interested to see how it goes when I transition to solids. I'll keep you all updated!

FillCentersUSA.com St. Petersburg, FL-Awesome
I had my 3rd fill today. This was my second fill at the fillcentersusa.com St. Petersburg, FL location. I can't praise this place enough. The doctor and her assistant are wonderful. So kind and caring. They really want to make sure you get the right fill for you. I was going to have mine done under fluoro with barium again but she said since it had only been 4 weeks I could do it without, that I should save my money. She used the machine to find my port but didn't have me do a barium swallow. I really appreciated her honesty. She said I can do the barium swallow on my next fill if I want. I feel that without the barium I still had a good fill. She talks to you after while you are drinking your Water to make sure the fill is ok. We actually had to take .2cc out during this time because the water was backing up into my throat (she asked me if it was, otherwise I wouldn't have known to tell her!). I went from 1.8 to 2.2. We'll see how it goes when I move to real foods.

Can you ever drink through a straw again?
I know immediately after surgery we are not to drink through straws. (Who the hell wants that added pain, right?) But, can you eventually use a straw? I have heard conflicting things on this. I try to stay away as much as possible, but I have used a straw once in awhile.
