  1. It is way too early to call yourself a slow loser. You haven't even had a fill yet, and like you said it's a time to heel. Don't be hard on yourself, you are still in the very early stages. Of course, by all means stick around here for support. Every little bit helps.
  2. Nat: I'm doing ok. Still dealing with issues (sugar a big one) but am feeling a lot better since I got a slight unfill. I'm not frustrated that I'm puking all the time yet I still have restriction. I just need to kick the sugar!!! Sometimes I think I should have just had gastric bypass, but I really don't want my insides hacked up. I read here almost every day, but I don't post often because of my lack of progress. I do want to say that I do enjoy everyone's posts and thank everyone for sticking with this group. And now that we're headed into the Holiday season, we'll need to stick together even more!!!
  3. The trail! Hee! Yeah, not exactly upscale. My friend lives off it and we're so trying to get him to move.
  4. I am in no way a doctor nor do I pretend to know enough to diagnose. However, with all the stress in your life lately, could it be possible you're suffering from depression? That would explain the exhaustion. (I hope I'm not offending you, I just want to help.)
  5. I've found that with long-sleeved shirts it's hit or miss. Some don't notice, others will and ask what it is. I don't usually care and I just tell them it's a fancy pedometer.
  6. I love my bodybugg, when I USE IT. I've had it since February or so and it really does work. I just don't use it consistently. I have issues all over. And the year is coming up. Bleh.
  7. I am seriously addicted to sugar and it's hurting my weight loss. I know that I should just NOT EAT IT, but that's like telling a drug addict to stop taking the drug. I just would like some suggestions on overcoming the addiction, strategies I can put in place. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated it.
  8. God, what a bitch. It astounds me how ignorant and clueless people can be.
  9. Sorry for the repetition for those of you in the same subscribed threads as me... Today I went from 2.2cc to 1.6cc in my band. I was getting so frustrated and mentally drained from not being able to eat. I couldn't even eat soup at lunch. I thought it was all part of the tigher earlier in the day thing. But, after having an unfill (she wanted to completely unfill me but I said I was too scared for that) and finally being able to eat lunch at a restaurant without running to the bathroom I am so happy. And I still only ate a little bit. Finding the right fill is a crazy process. So, two steps in my starting fresh are under way. I hope to start step 3 (consistent exercise) tomorrow. I will keep you all updated.
  10. Brandi, I'm so sorry for your troubles. You're such an inspiration to us on-line. I hate that your "real life" isn't so great. Good luck with the ticket... As for me, some of you may have read this elsewhere I posted, but I felt I should post it here too since so many of you have been offering your support to me. 12. I don't know how you feel, but to me it sucks we're getting so close to our anniversary date yet haven't lost much. I hate that I haven't done what I could have in a year.
  13. I just placed an order for it!
  14. Thanks Denise. Your posts always make me feel like I'm not alone in what I'm going through.
  15. Thank you. I appreciate it. Your posts always help!
  16. I don't use mine like I should, and have gone weeks without using it. Despite that, YES!!!!
  17. I just want to thank everyone for the kind words and support. I'm feeling better and think "ranting" here is what helped. I've scheduled another fill and I'm going to address some of my issues with the doctor then. Thanks again!
  18. Thank you for all the kind words. I've scheduled another fill and I'm going to talk to the doctor about this when I go. It helped venting here, though!
  19. It's obvious to me they're on a crusade to vilify Wasa. I ignore them.
  20. I really need to know how some of you got over your head issues with food. I'm to the point where I'm almost hating my band and wishing I never had it done. Yet, it's not the band's fault, it's MINE for not getting my shit together. I can't even make it a week eating right. Is there any advice (aside from therapy; nothing against it, I'm just looking for other types of advice also) for people like me?
  21. Thank you for approving me for the Yahoo group. I really need some inspiration. I'm almost to the point where I hate my band. That sounds awful, but it's true. I don't know why I can't do this. It's so frustrating! I think I need psychiatric help! Those of you who have had awesome success, how do you stay motivated? How do you keep going? What keeps you eating the right way and not eating crap? Maurdan
  22. I gave up going to Typhoon Lagoon and out to dinner in order to stay on this plan. I'm not going to ruin today now! Btw, losingjustme... when you do your free days (once a month I think?) is it hard to get back on track? I've done free days before, usually once a week (eek!) and sometimes I extend them into free weekends, etc...
  23. I stayed on plan today because I was determined that, for once, I was going to start being "good" on a Saturday and not use the weekend as an excuse to pig out so I could "start again" Monday. I will stay on plan tomorrow because I am disgusted with my lack of progress and disappointed in MYSELF and starting to doubt the decision to get the band. Yet, I know it's MY fault and not the band's.
  24. Perfect! I feel better now. I know it's vain, but I really didn't want to wear it.
  25. I went ahead and ordered mine last night. One question... Do you have to actually wear the watch? Or can it work if you just put it on your desk, etc.?
