  1. Hello there, I am getting banded on December 15th. I am going to start the 2 week diet on Thursday. I am a little nervous about it because I have never eaten that little bit of food and styck with it. I know it is imperative that I do because they want to shrink the liver before surgery... Lawd! this is going to be hard. But I am on my way to a new me, so I am going to put 110% into this 2week liver shrinking diet. Good luck to all of you December bandsters.
  2. How along after surgery are you able to drink Alcohol again?
  3. Oh I am so glad I read these posts. I had no idea a C-section was harder than the lap-band. I had a c-section and I didnt have problems at all. My scar keloid so I am worried about that.. I hope that doesnt happen with the incisions for the lap-band. I just pray that the Lap-band will be a walk in the park.. I get banded on Dec 15th so will soon see:blush:

  6. I will be banded on December 15th. Are you hungry during the 1st 2 weeks? I am just wondering how am I going to survive the liquid diet.
  7. I am scheduled to have the lapband on Dec 15th. As time gets closer I am getting a little nervous. ( thats to be expected).. I havent lost any weight yet but I am quite sure I will when I have to start the 2 week pre-op diet. It will definelty be a challenge because it is during the holiday season. Does anyone else have concerns about starting a pre-op diet during the holidays?

  11. Oh no! I didnt know they put a restriction on sex. 6 weeks after the surgery.. Im not scheduled to have the surgery until 12-15 and I have already started planning my daily walks... While I am out of work. I am hoping that the exercise will help the weight loss. Need to loose about 60 pounds. :huh2:

  16. Hello, I am a diabetic, I am curious what kind of pre-opt diet will I have to follow? It doesnt sound like Ill be able to eat much.
