I have never really thought about having lap band untill a friend of mine had it done. I always thought it was the "easy way" out.. Ha Ha.. After meeting with the Dr I am here to say that this is not the easy way out. Saying your on a diet and having the option to shove your mouth with cake and coke then ice cream is the easy way out. Of course being on a diet all my life is what got me to this point. LOL. I have been on a diet serioiusly all my life I feel like. I can remember as young as 12 starting a diet with my mother. And its been a yo yo every since. I have lost weight before with every diet known to man, keeping it off is my trouble. I am looking forward to the results that will come with the Lap Band. Do I think it will be a easy walk in the park.. NO WAY. But I do feel that if I will follow all the rules then I will be happy..We shall see, Pre Op now in session and Oct 15 is surgery date..
