    Way to go,that should shut her up, I can't wait to see what my mother-in-law has to say, she doesn't know i'm having surgery & I dared my husband to tell her,keep up the GREAT work.

    OK, I saw the Psychologist went great I think, all my papers are in to the insurance co,now what am I goin to do with myself.How long do this usually take,I was told I had to see a Heart & Lung doctor before the surgeon would do the surgery has anyone else had this requirement,

    Well I found out I can get around my CRAPPY PCP so yeaaa!!!! I am seeing a psychologist Tues, so wish me luck, every time a brick wall come up before me & this surgery it gets knocked down,so I beleive this surgery is destiny, now on to my next question, has anyone went into surgery for a lap-band® & got a sleeve instead,after attending the seminar I'm leaning toward the sleeve now. prior surgeries & scar tissue also I take NSAIDS for arthritis.

You are so supportive even though you have reached your goal you haven't forgotton about the ones who are struggling or like me haven't got started yet but determined to get banned & before the year is gone.You keep me inspired, even though my PCP say no I say YES, have fun today you deserve it & so much more.

    My pcp is a joke he said I wanted the lap band for a physical reason -duh! its also a medical reason ,my insurance wont pay without my pcp referral everything else I have. I weigh 268lbs @ 5ft. 7in. whats physical about that,I guess the high blood pressure,bulging disk,arthritis & knee pain is physical to,WOW I really needed to get that off my chest,feeling better already, can someone help please what else can I do.My PCP referral is all I need.H E L P P L E A S E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you so much I was hoping for that, I have arthritis high blood pressure,bulging disk in the lower spine & neck insomnia,fibromyalgia, & knee pain to name a few. I go back to the doc. tomorrow.

    I am just getting started,I am on medicaid, & medicare, I weigh 260lbs. Witha BMI of 40.2. has medicare or medicaid paid for anyone's surgery,please let me know.can't weight any longer. Oh yea medically I qualify for everything. :smile2:

    YOU LOOK GREAT,how much did you weigh before your surgery,I keep hearing I am not big enough but my BMI is 40.2 I weigh 258lbs. I am so ready to be banded,waiting on my ins.GOOD-LUCK stay strong.

    I am in the same situation and cant wait to hear from my insurance co. I weigh 258 with a bmi of 40.2 I get so tired of people telling me I dont need surgery but to stop eating.GOOD-LUCK
