Hi,& welcome ALL I had my surgery on Oct.18,2010 by Dr. Michael King in Oxford,Ms. He & his staff are the best, Mickey & Robin are great they will take care of you, didn't really care to much for the nurses at the hospital. I had to spend the night Insurance requirement

My miracle cure is pineapple juice I carry a can in my purse(6oz dole).

pineapple juice gives you instant relief & beleive me you will need it, being stuck hurt like crap.

I thought it would never happen to me I'm 5 mths post-op I drank water too fast & got this feeling in my throat,I thought I had to burp but this glob came up YUCK,won't gulp again sip,sip,sip.

I was banded Oct.18,2010 & lost 44lbs. I thought that was bad but I guess I'm on target 3rd. fill march 15,2011 6 1/2cc in 10cc band not sure if I'm getting that third fill just yet.

I saw one of my X-co-workers in a store yesterday she didn't reconize me I have lost 45 lbs. & cut all my hair off & dyed it blonde it was great when she did her triple take,she just screamed.

O.k. so today I went for my second fill, on my fist fill I got 1cc so I'm thinking I only got 1cc in my band so the doc decided to take all the fluid out to see exactly how much I really had, I had 5cc & 1-1/2cc added today so I have a total of 6-1/2cc so maybe I will have some restriction now,I have lost 43-lbs,my surgery was Oct.18,2010.

I wish I had read this yesterday I went to the doctor & he gave me a big painful shot of dexamethasone and its still hurting & I am 3 mths out.

I have had this tight dull pain in my left shoulder for the last two days I had this same pain after surgery Oct.18,2010 could this possibily be gas I have taken gas-x and walked 2 miles today but the pain is still here.

I have had 2 sinus infections in a month & thats never happen before I also stay cold.

I'm in also I was banded oct.18,2010 268lbs. pre-op 232-229 for the last wk. no exercise or kinect for the last month I can do this & I will.

Warm pineapple juice works wonders when stuck.

I was banded on Oct.18,2010 I also had a hernia I had gas really bad in my back & shoulder the only relief i got was heating pad & extra strength gas-x good-luck & walk,walk,walk & walk some more.

I saw this really pretty dress & decided to order it for motivation,I ordered a size misses 12 therefore I wouldn't have a chance of getting in it,well I tried it just for the heck of it I can get it on but I look like a sausage which is great 4 months ago I looked like a sauage in a 18w.

I was banded on Oct.18,2010 I got my first fill Yesterday 12/06/2010 my doctor put in 2cc but had to take out 1cc and I am fine with that I don't have the restriction I want but I'm sure its gonna happen I didn't gain this weight in a year & if I don't lose it all in a year that would be ok but since I began this journey at 268 lbs. Oct.3,2010 235 lbs. dec.6,2010 I think come Oct.18,2011 I will be one happy bandster. 33 lbs. lost 75 lbs. to go.HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE

WOW HunnyBun I thought i had and experience but yours was just unforgiveable you need to complain to someone who will listen so this type stuff can be solved & never happen again the nerve of some suppose to be professional People,I hope you are better I wish you a speedy recover,my nurses also ignored my request for pain meds but once my Doctor found out how they were treating me he handled it right there in front of me,& wow did their act change I was treated like a Queen after he blasted them,how did your liver get cut.

I use a really big spoon & pour crystal light in the spoon with the powder ,then go for it ,chase with more crystal light GOOD-LUCK.

Well LIAR I am, I only told my Husband & he of course told his Mom. So i'm assuming thats all that knows but regardless thats my business if I choose not to tell anyone. I told everyone I had a hernia repaired & I did. Its your choice to tell or not.

I was banded on oct. 18, how long do it take for the glue to come off or go away it itch like crap. Please can someone that was banded around this time tell me if the glue is still visible on your incisions or any info would be welcomed.:cursing:

OK SO I WAS BANDED 10/18/2010 I had a HERNIA a big HERNIA it was repaired I stayed in the hospital 2 days I haven't had a lot of pain, I had my one week check up today & I am doing great I am down 26lbs. & feeling great, the cream of chicken is really a plus to.GOOD-LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:

Hi kellie I to was banded on Mon. Oct.18 I to am having chest pains when I take a deep breath it gets better everyday if you were giving the thingy to breath in every hour use it,it really has helped me I try to do mine every hour & I also walk,walk,walk GOOD-LUCK.I have no restrictions & I am on unlimited liquid so far I haven't felt any difference than before surgery.
