  1. Hi Sue101, very sorry to hear about the clot. My husband was diagnosed with Deep Vein thrombosis (look it up) about 6 years ago.they found them on his legs and has to be on blood thinners. I really hope your case is not as bad.Doctor said it was due from him being over weight so he went in for the Gastric Bypass.I really hope your case is not as bad and if you want to talk more about this just shot me an E-mail you can find it on my profile.Wishing you the best of luck.

  2. Kay, tried the soda deal, not a good feeling..Its like a big gas bubble stuck and a very uneasy pain..now all that was for only one zip of soda! Shoot! I could do with out. Being stuck is not fun either.. you cant keep nothing down your slimming constantly and you have pain! feels like someone punched in the chest. So that is what I experienced . best of luck on your journey.

  3. Gurl!! thats my biggest fear gaining some weight back. Have not heard from my Doctor and hoping this doesn't drag on another week.Ive been keeping myself active hitting the gym everyday and replacing my breakfast with a protein bar and my meals are not so bad. But Yeah! Ive heard of people gaining 30 to 40lb back..SHOOT!!! scary..well I hope everything goes smooth this time around gurly..take care.

  4. I may be in the same boat as you, I'm scheduled for an upper GI next Friday and with a total empty band its seem like a long time from now til next Friday. knowing that I'm able to eat way more than I have. But this is my time to challenge myself with my meals and going to the gym.I pray there is no slippage and I also pray for you. This our time to step it up just a little bit more then we have been doing. I'm down 80lb and feeling awesome and sure you are also.I have faith and I know everything will turn for the best.Best of Luck too you Blondi452

  5. :eek I'm 7months post op..Ummm I didnt really keep to the 2 weeks pre-op..I did keep it light and sub my breakfeast with a shake..but for my last meal before surg I had a very nice meal!!:) being that I stuck to the no eating 12hr prior to surg.good thing I ate my surg was pushed back two more hr then scheduled :).But after the surg I went by the book and stuck too the plan to the "T". I'm now down 76lbs..and have good restriction.I think the two weeks pre-op is for you to adjust to your meal change so it doesn't come too you as a shock.Soooo, not saying the way I went about it was the right way, but I don't regret it.So be your own judge..Best of luck to you all..
