Chest Pains

5 days post op & I keep having these unusual sharp pains in my chest every since surgery. I know I had pneumonia & Ive been on antibiotics for about 4 days now. I have no problem swallowing and the sharp pains come at various times. Any ideas what this may be?   Uncomfortable:confused:

When will the liquids end??????

3 days post op I found out I had pneumonia. This has been the worst ever. In an effort to figure out why I was having chest pains, my doc drew my fluid out my band & told me to stay on clear fluids for 5 additional days. I am so ready to taste something other than water, jello & broth! 1 week post-op..what are some of the things you other bandsters tried 1 week out?

Successfully Banded 10-15-10

I cried the entire time in pre-op. Everything was running through my mind...what if I don't wake up, what if I fail at this, what if my liver hasn't shrunk etc. My doc was great & he and my anthesiologist assured me that I would be fine & that they would take very good care of me...which they did.   1 day pre-op and no hunger, desire to eat & I was able to go to my 7 yr olds football game today. I feel great. A lil pain like I've been doing situps but nothing unbearable. Sligh

Help!!!! I'm starving!!!!

I am supposed to be on a high protein & veggie diet 2 weeks before my surgery. I did not do well at all. Now I'm trying a liquid diet to prepare for surgery Friday. I am ready to die! I'm hungry, my head hurts, and I can 't resist temptation. Why can't I just do the liquid diet 24 hrs before? uuuugggghhhhhh!!!!!!:cursing:
