- Lab Band Removal - Hospital Stay Duration???
I went home same day as my removal. I had a slip with just early erosion though so you may have a completely different experience. I will say that as soon as I woke up from surgery all the discomfort I'd had with my band was totally gone. It was like magic good luck!!!- Losing SO slow
It is exactly what you said. It's 43 pounds and it's freaking amazing. You've lost a 5 year old in 2 months.- Crockpot yummies!
As of today, cooler weather is moving through my area (YAY!!!!) and I have this master plan to use my crockpot more this fall and winter. Monday we are starting off with taco Soup in the crockpot but I'm looking for other tasty, reasonably healthy recipes I can throw together before work and leave unattended all day. Any suggestions? HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- When did you start eating salad?
My doc says around 7 weeks. Was possibly the best day of my life HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- honey?
Really it's very individual. My doc says no sugar, honey, etc but I had hot tea with a little honey when I was sick this summer and had no problem (and I'm a dumper). Now if I'd dumped half a cup of honey in the tea I'd have been sick as a dog. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Decribe it in one word...
Love this!!!! HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Beef patties
- Favorite brand of unflavored protein? NOT UNJURY! lol
If you find a good one please share, so far I've found them all nasty. What I really need is a taste-less Protein...someone work on that for us!!! HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- NEED SOME ADVICE
I could have done it. I would have been exhausted and slept on the way down and back but I could have done it. Honestly. Until you're at that point. I don't think you can predict how you'll be feeling and if you're physically capable if going or not. Perhaps you'll wake up that morning feeling great and want to try, but I don't think you can commit to going at this point :/ sorry this is so tough, hope you find peace with your decision. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- ratio for MFP
You can do it on a mobile but you actually have to log in to the web site. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Fresh fruit
If it's okay with your doc then go for it. Watch bananas though. Pretty high sugar content, I dump off them if I'm not careful. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Fabulous February Post-Op's
The last 10 pounds...I've gone from a 38DDD to a 38 D....guess those 10 pounds were all boob :/- Decribe it in one word...
Love life Or Live life HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Specific meal plans?
So at three months my only food restrictions were to avoid high fat foods or foods high in simple carbs and avoid processed foods. I am supposed to eat 4 meals a day, 20 grams of Protein per meal. And 15-20 grams of carbs per meal. 800-1000 calories per day. My docs break down is 3 oz meat plus a veg, fruit, or grain for each meal. So, that what I'm SUPPOSED to do hope it helps. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Afraid to start the protein milkshakes

- Yoplait greek VS Chobani Greek Yorgurt
Depends on your doc, not an issue with mine.- WHO CAN EAT RICE/NOODLES?
Yes ma'am, slipped band with prolapsed stomach. BIg nasty nightmare. The RNY was been heaven. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- WHO CAN EAT RICE/NOODLES?
I'm 7 months, was allowed to eat them at 6 or 7 weeks (I probably waited til 3 months for rice, it killed me with my lap bamd and I was scared of it!!!) Don't eat much at 1 time but have no issue with either. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- WHO CAN EAT RICE/NOODLES?
I can eat brown rice and noodles. Haven't tried white rice. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- Not feeling full
It was a good 6-8 weeks before my stomach could register a full feeling. Don't eat til you feel full, eat what you're supposed to. It may be a while before you actually feel 'full'. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198- June Post Ops!
Awesome idea!!! Congrats- Afraid to start the protein milkshakes
You need protein to heal. Do what your surgeon says, they've done this before and know what your body needs. - Lab Band Removal - Hospital Stay Duration???
