  1. Homemade beef and barley soup. Yummy and high on the protein!
  2. I want it ALL an upper and lower body lift....but will likely never be able to afford it. If nothing else I want the saggy gut cut off, it's just terrible. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  3. Put their MFP name where you'd put the email address.
  4. I'm a gas making machine...but it's not trapped :/ HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  5. So, like someone said above...I had way too much at a Halloween party this weekend. Was very warm and fuzzy off 1/2 a drink, but that faded quickly. I guess since it doesn't take much to feel the buzz it wears off quick too. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  6. Heating pad HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  7. Oh lord, what a mess....call your gyn but if there's any chance you're pregnant they'll likely want you off birth control immediately due to risk of complications to the pregnancy. Good luck!!!! HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  8. I have to watch carb content, otherwise I can handle anything. Meats, chicken, fruits, bread, rice, veggies, none of it bothers my stomach at all. I consider myself lucky!!! I have thrown up twice since surgery in February, once because I was seasick and once because I ate too much. My own fault.
  9. Most OTC tests will be positive about the time you're due to start your period. If you look you may be able to find one that picks up earlier...first response says they work up to 6 days before a missed period....
  10. The most concerning part of this to me is the purging...dangerous behavior my friend. I think we discussed this before and you may already be doing it, but I really recommend a therapist to work through your issues. Your weight loss us beyond fabulous, you've lost twice what I have in the same time frame. We all have stalls and doubts. We all cheat occasionally. That's all completely normal. Resorting to purging scares me for you. Please be careful. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  11. I prefer to think they needed it more than I do live and learn!
  12. Just FYI I've twice given away stuff on here. All I asked for both times was or the recipient to reimburse the shipping cost. Both times they did not reimburse me...just be careful!
  13. So, I really thought the RNY was a piece of cake. No sugar coating. It just wasn't that big of a deal. I've had a c-section, gallbladder removal, lap band put in, and lap band taken out, and now RNY. It was uncomfortable, I used meds regularly for 2 days then rarely, by day 5 or 6 I was on meds at bedtime only, sleeping on my tummy with a side propped on a pillow. Day 9 I was back to work (exhausted but back to work). My biggest complaints post op were nausea and fatigue. The nausea I eventually figured out was hunger so eating more often helped that greatly, I still occasionally get randomly queasy but it's pretty rare. The fatigue was pretty severe for 6 weeks, I'd come home, sit down, and not move all night. At six weeks that disappeared and I was feeling great. Greatest thing I've ever done for myself. My RNY was a bit trickier and longer because of all the scar tissue from my band issues but still, after 2 days, unless I did something stupid, I was just really very very sore. Good luck!!! 14. It was actually a lot of fun, number 2 this weekend. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  15. First two thoughts: is your potassium okay and are you drinking enough water? I get mild leg cramps pretty much nightly since RNY. They get better on days I really push the water.
  16. Juice is pretty much sugar and water....you can get light formulations that aren't as bad (I've done apple and orange) but still they have a fair amount of sugar. I'll take 2-3 swallows of my sons occasionally but I have dumping issues with simple carbs and juice gets me fast.
  17. I often say I feel like a girl now....hate that I spent so many years not feeling that way!
  18. I got the card too but so many kids menus are just crap! HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  19. somehow you've gotten logged off. Sign back in and you'll be back to normal. It's happened randomly to me 3 times now. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  20. I went on a date with an adorable and charming man who told me I'm beautiful, not cute, not nice smile, not great personality, BEAUTIFUL....other than my son, I believe that's the first time I've ever heard that. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  21. tGI Fridays has 'share' plates....last night I had 3 meatballs, little sauce, little cheese, they were delicious. And no sides and such so pretty much just meat. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  22. A boy!!! He's a physicist and almost as dorky as me. Should be fun! On another note, went to a Bon Jovi concert tonight and danced my ass off. Oh how I love not feeling miserable all the time! Congrats on finding your ribs HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 198
  23. I have a date tomorrow night. Scared to death!
