  1. I am glad that you had enough removed to get back to eating better. Too tight is real bad! I have been there, too! I still can't sleep after eating and not allowing my food to pass through the band. i have been tired recently, and fell asleep in the easy chair. well I woke up coughing and choking, it was a couple hours before I was normal. YIPES!!!
  2. amazing! Congrats, you are doing a great job, and you look wonderful! Congrats on your 6 month bandiversary!
  3. Congratulations! You look wonderful!
  4. I had a revison, and I have had a problem losing since that 2 years ago. I can't get a fill, because I am "green" and any further fill will make me too full. I am tracking what I eat with "my fitness pal". It helps to know what you are eating! I have restriction, so in my cae it was eating too much of a bad thing! You can get back on track, if you want to, best wishes!
  5. Here, here! I am so glad that you said this and you are a successful person I can agree with! Congrats!
  6. Best wishes what ever you decide
  7. Well, I am not your surgeon, but my surgeon suggests 2 days clear and 2 days full liquids. So, if you did that, today would be full liquids and not solids. MAybe try going back to liquids to see if that calms the problem. (by the way, your pains sound alot like I felt when I had a gallbladder attack)!! Best wishes, Karen
  8. Happy birthday to you, Carolinagirl! Hope that you Celebrate with a nice ride on your new bike! Best wishes for many, many more!

  10. That is a great NSV, and story! Hurrah!
  11. It all depends on how you look and feel. I set my goal lower than my surgeon did. He set it for 150, I said 140. He insists that when we women get to a certain age, we can carry a little more weight and look better. Don't know?
  12. Woohoo! Carolinagirl, we want pictures!!Bethca you look great!
  13. When winter hits in Florida, the weather makes getting outsdie much nicer. Longer walks increase the metobolism and should help weightloss.
  14. Also, coke works great, like roto-rooter. Sometimes it comes up and sometimes it goes down. I use real coke, and I like it warm, not cold. A couple oz is all that you need, too!
  15. You are on the way!
  16. fashionstylist, you look real good, keep up the great work! You look happy and healthy!

  19. ((((hugs)))best wishes.
  20. I agree with the others. But, just as your surgeon said, it may have been too full! If you were, you probably learned to eat around the band for self preservation! Hopefully, with a new start, you will get the band working well. Best wishes!
  21. Me neither, but am a history buff!
  22. Well, we voted Taft in and he was huge! I personally think his weight is not a problem. He can do something about obese!
  23. Great responses!
  24. I eat a lot o chicken salad, but chicken breast by itself is way to dry. I eat very little bread, if i do, it is mostly toasted.
