Funny Story

Funny story... Last night I when laying on my back I thought I found a bump on my left side by my incision and started freaking out until I felt my right side and realized it had one also. I was feeling my ribs. For the first time in a long time I can feel my ribs with out pressing extra hard. It's amazing what 48 pounds has done.

That is a great NSV, and story! Hurrah!

This is hilarious! And congratulations on the 48 pounds gone, gone, gone. That must be a great feeling.

Lol I love that! Congrats.

this made me smile

thanks for sharing

I am so happy to have finally found where everone went. Had no idea kapbandtalk was moving over her. Just today I found it. So I hope I can get back into the swing of things. Hope all are doing well. Good to be back with ya all.

This made me smile too...!!!! Thanx!

Congrats! I made the same mistake. I woke up and felt a hard lump on my side. When I pressed on it, I realized it was my ribs! When you start feeling the car seat press on your butt bone, let us know! :-P I started feeling that new sensation about a month ago.

My Surgeon examining/feeling me for cancer after seeing my mammogram felt mine with surprised expression on her face. Another puzzled question came from the people viewing the cat-scan at my local hospital. They don't schedule much bariatric surgery in my low population part of the state, so my placement was done in a specialty hospital 200 miles away. It took me several moments to realize they were encountering my band! I go for days not thinking of it. I kind of chuckled at myself!

;)
