  1. You will do well. Just keep moving and the loss of appetite is normal for many. I still need to make myself eat. I just think it is band placement and I love never being hungry. Just get on a schedule and nourish yourself and follow the rules.

Please go easy the first few weeks your insides are healing and that takes some time.

Glad to hear all is well and the journey has begun for you. Best wishes imaluckydog.

  2. You will have so many emotions it is hard to tell which ones you will get. Just let them happen and follow the rules. Stay relaxed and remember you are doing yourself a favor and you will be healthy in no time. Keep a positive mind and walk. I wish you all the best and keep posting so we know how you are doing. Your day is soon. be well ;-)

    Best wishes imaluckydog

  4. Just amazing I mean it JUST AMAZING!! I am so proud of you and keeping your head in the game of things. You go girrrrl. I always hated not losing for the longest time but in the big picture.... RIGHT.... OMG the inches is where it is at. You go girl friend. You FEEL GOOD you have earned it. Best wishes imaluckydog and holding at 110 for now I can't stand it when people say to me "You don't want to get too skinny" LOL like I could ever be TOO SKINNY hahahahaha

  5. Well look at how far you have come!! I stayed the same for almost one month. It was suggested I switch my foods up a bite and eat different things. I needed to watch the caloric value of some foods and keep a variety of foods and liquids going in. I found the plateau was very hard for me to deal with. I ate more cooked broccoli and other veggies and it helped. You are probably doing everything well and the plateau is just your bodies way of letting you know who is in charge. I know because my body never really liked losing 110 pounds. Hang in there and the scale will move. Follow the rules. Best wishes imaluckydog

  6. You have the best attitude already. You know what you must do. The band will work with you if you listen to your body. Keep moving and walking in always my choice. I have lost 110 pounds in a year so GOOD things are worth the wait. I just love my band and myself for being able to follow the rules and stay on track. You will do it too. I was banded June 29, 2009 Best wishes imaluckydog

  7. So proud of you GF!! This is how we work our band Awhauh, Awhauh we like it!!

I had to have another Un-fill yesterday. I was able to tighten my muscles around my band due to my own inner stress level. Not a GOOD thing. I need to learn how to relax. Quick...

You are doing so very well and make me remember how much fun I should be having with a 110 pound weight loss. The best thing that happened to me was yesterday while shopping for a new dress. Another women was trying on the same dress and she said to me and the dressing attendant why didn't she look as great in the dress as I DID!!! Yes, I bought the sexy little black dress a size 10 from J Crew. OMG

Here is to the JOY of Lap Band SUCCESS. I love every minute.

    Best wishes imaluckydog

PS My NP told me we yesterday, people who blog or journal are 10% to 20% more likely to have better SUCCESS with their LB journey than someone who does not. Cool huh?

  8. Best decision I even made. Best wishes. I still have not told my mother and she still does not know. I have lost 110 pounds and I do not have to answer all her questions. My husband is very happy as well. Best wishes imaluckydog

  10. You LOOK MARVELOUS !! ;-) Keep doing what you are doing it is working for you. My plateaus seemed to last forever. Hang in there and do not give in to mind games. The weight will come off as the body gets used to where it is now. Just wonderful news and glad to hear you BRAG it is so worth it and you deserve to brag look at how far you have come. Best wishes imaluckydog

  11. BEST WISHES. I hope you have a wonderful band journey as I have had. I also have had memory loss. This past year has been a blur. I cannot for the life of me remember where the time has gone too? I have lost 110 pounds. At times I remember nothing at all. My overweight self was something I want to forget. Again Best wishes. imaluckydog

  12. Keeping busy is so important. I read everything I could get my hands on. I even got all the foods in the house and the pantry stocked up. Then when my surgery came I did not have to run around looking for drinks and soft foods. I started taste testing different liquid protein drinks and found the one I enjoyed eating. There are some that taste terrible to me. I even started collecting recipes. Planning is so important. Best wishes imaluckydog
