  1. :woot: Hey girls... Well here I am a week without the kids and I am already miserable! lol...I miss my babies. They are at girl scout camp, it is Faith't first time. I miss them already.... As for me, I have poison oak and it will NOT go away, it only keeps getting worse...I even got shots from the Dr and it is still spreading. WHY girls, why???
  2. Thanks Debra. I did get the ticker at tickerfactory.com. I have a Photobucket account that I copied it onto and from there you copy the URL that they have. You will have to take out the http: out or you will have 2 of them and it won't work. It took me a bit to get it. I had to play around with it, but once you get it you can keep updating and changing it. Good luck!
  3. Hello all! I just realized that I am a few pounds from being at 25 BMI which means I am almost to NORMAL range! NORMAL!! I can not wait! I am 35 or so from goal, but wondering how much of that is skin now? What do you guys think skin weighs? Should we count that out?? lol..sounds like a plan to me.
  4. Ugh, my back has been killing me lately. I went to Dr today for help and she told me that I am now top heavey and bound to have problems. It is killing me, I can't sleep tonight. I want to crawl in a ball and stay there. I can not take the pain..... Anyone else have this problem? Chriropractor is no good. Not working for me. I don't want to go on meds. I have never really had this before. It is right below my bra to my mid-low back, hence it is the ta tas...yeah I said it...lol... short of cutting them off what can I do????
  5. Welcome to band land! Here's to great success for you! :whoo:
  6. Please keep your eyes on the prize! Falling off the wagon if you are anything like me will start you into a deep sorrow. Don't do it. Think of fitting into your favorite brand of jeans and looking damn hot doing it! Think of being healthy and never having to worry about your heart, or your body giving out on you because you are so overweight, think about all the things you want to do when you are healthier after surgery. After you think about all that, look away from food, it is not your friend and it is not worth it. I have been through the hell and I am on the other side, it is worth it, just don't let go of your dream now! Good luck, you can do this! :whoo::whoo:
  7. Yes, it is worht every minute of it! I weighed almost 320 pounds at 29, and was hell bent not to weigh that much at 30! I had surgery last year in August and have never regretted one second of it. At times it can be hard, but honestly it has been nothing major. The Pbing is not that bad, trust me. I have 2 kids and I was fine with them. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk, I will be more than happy to talk to you. I have now lost 120 pounds and went from HUGE to Hot, trust me it is worth it!!!
  8. loll...voodoo...You will be able to meat after you are banded....lol....girl....don't go busting a gut making it so you don't need lap band but reconstructive surgery! lol... Yeah, my kids do not know the cats full name.....lol...
  9. Steph--thanks on the congrats. How did you break yourself from the constant pouncing on the scale?? Even with my hidden now I still pull it out and hide to weigh myself at least 7 times a day. Claud--I am so sorry sweetie, don't let it get to you! You know you are better than that! Just don't let em see you sweat sweetie, you are better than that! VA--congrats on the NSV! Hugs to you! SHe probly noticed there was no Ho-ho's and then saw you are becoming a skinny little thing! I ate 4 raviolos today and no PB, first time ever! I have missed my pasta. I know it can be a fluke, but I will take it! :hungry:
  10. Brandi-- I am glad for you honey! I would say I was sorry but I don't think you need that, sounds like it is the best thing ever for you. You know you can live without him, and find MUCH MUCH better. He doesn't deserve you, and someday when he begs you back because he realizes he will never have anyone as good as you ever, please spit in his face and smile.
  11. Hello all, Anyone else caught up in the evil money making world of webkinz? lol... I got my girls each one a few weeks ago and now it seems I am spending all of my time on there and a TON of money. Anyone else addcited to them? My girls now each have 2 and uh oh, I have my own....lol....
  12. I honestly don't think I have lost any friends, they have all become beter friends. I am willing to do more with them and have more fun shopping ect. I think it has made me closer to people not the opposite. Family is another matter....
  13. WOW Voodoo, I would be calling that place and kicking some a**. Let's be real, they have NO BUSINESS calling someone else to get anything approved. Obvisously your DH trusts you or he wouldn't have a joint account with you, and that is none of their dam business! Sheesh....
  14. Hi Vodoo, welcome! I am glad I am not the only one who names themselves after their cat! lol...My cat was named after Jay & Silent Bob, so obviously I don't have her full name here! Anyhow, congrats on making the committment! And DO NOT worry about the need to feel to graze. We all do it before pre op, trust me! I gained 7 pounds during my 2 week binge! lol...but when I get sad now of thigs I miss to eat I remember that week. I ate it all, trust me!
  15. Thanks, I still have a bit to go for me. I was banded at Hurley in Flint last year on August 1st.
  16. Congrats to you! I live in Jackson, so I know where you are!
  17. Hello ladies Well I broke down and got a new scale. I hid it in a closet so he doesn't take it away too. I have lost 4 pounds since my fill. Feeling goos about that! Hope you are all well.
  18. I agree, I now see the band as a bigger security blanket than food! That is what it takes I believe to let go of food as a friend. Good luck to all of you!
  19. I was told up front to never have bread, Pasta or tortillas until I knew what they will do to me. The bread does expand in the stomach and can cause great pain. I am now able to eat brown rice, but not white. I am amazed at some of the things people are told or not told by their Drs. It is pretty darn scary if you ask me!
  20. congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Thanks Steph! I am very particular on what I eat. I track everything, but I do splurge sometimes. I pay attention to everything and calories, looking at the portion size and calories really helps me. I am able to make decisions that way and decide if I really want it or not. I don't do salads, my Dr said they aren't a good choice. Just make it a habit to know how many calories go into your mouth, it helps alot!
  22. Ok, I was a binger. I can not do it now if my life depended on it. I too swayed back and forth, the band was best for me. I am fulltime student @ MSU, so I don't have the luxury of taking alot of time off. A lot of bypass paitents are VERY sick. My mom is one them. She had it after me and is now regretting it. Research both, and choose what is best for you. BUT binge eating is not an option for me. Not that I want to anymore. I love the new me, and never want to mess it up. Feel free to pm if you want to talk more !
  23. I asked my Dr about removing the band when at goal. He just looked at me and asked me if I had ever dieted before. Of course I said yes. He then asked if I had ever failed. Well, duh! I then got the point that this isn't a fad that is just there until I am skinny, it is a tool for the rest of my life! I would never ever have it removed. I am even wondering what happens to it after a TT. I don't want it out....ever!
  24. WOW Kat! That is the craziest thing I have ever heard! I am not a homeschooler for my kids, I am very fortunate to have them at a charter school which is going great, but if we didn't have that option I more than likely would homeschool. Hard to believe that it could ever keep someone from fostering a child that needs love. Disgusting if you ask me!
  25. Steph--awww sweetie! I am so sorry! I also DO NOT agree with him that you may need an unfill. I had my Dr argue with me once on that, and I was right. But I am glad it is what you needed. Sometimes the truth completely sucks, even though it is true! :car: You can get back on track girl, we are all here for you whenever you need us!! Claud--I am a BAD BAD girl. I have an occassional coke now and then, maybe 1 or 2 a month. I also do it when I get something stuck. I can't drink much of it though, gives me terrible tummy trouble. I miss it so. Brandi--I saw those pics miss hottie!! WOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work sweetie! Nat--basics will get you going. Good on you for the NSV! It feels great when others notice. I am getting irritated by people lately. A lot of people have been telling me that I need to stop loosing weight. Makes me freaking nuts. Some of them are the same people who treated me like shit fat. WTH??? One guy told me that I was going to loose my "girlish curves" and look like a boy. I hate people today... :cry:angry:angry
