That sounds more fair to me. I do think a family wanting to adopt does need a steady income that is good enough to raise children, but laying $20k for adoption can make raising the child difficult if you saved so much for it!

It is about the size of a quarter under your skin. I really didn't feel mine alot when I was big, I am smaller now and I can feel it. It doesn't ever bother me. My scars are barely noticiable a year later, I didn't pay attention to how long it took though. It does peek out sometimes but not much and nothing major!

LOL...yes that was taken care of as well. Mostly because I can not stand it "messy" down there! They did an ultrasound and they have burst so I will be feeling better in a few days, until next month and it will switch sides. Treatments--birth control (Out of the question when trying to get pregnant), pregnancy, and removal of ovaries (well isn't that pleasant?) SOOO--I will be dealing with these for awhile now. Ugh.. I hope that Nikki is contagious! I want to be next, lol. I did a little bit of shopping afterwards and got some cute stuff dirt cheap. I got 2 outfits with skirts for 30.00 at Elder Bearman! VERY nice classy stuff just on clearance. And the skirts are both size 12's and they FIT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO....I think I deserve that for all the sh*t my body is doing to me!

I agree with Julie. I didnt know you could buy Nutisystem food without the whole plan, I will have to check into that! I also carry protien bars. The more the protien the longer it will hold me as well. I also carry granola bars for a quick pick me up.

Thanks Nikki. I am feeling a bit better this morning. I found my leftover Loratab and that is working better for me. It feels like my insides are being ripped out. For now I am waiting for them to burst. Dr said it will happen and be very painful for another 12-24 hrs after and then I should be ok until next month! They did call my GYN while I was there, and I am seeing him in the afternoon tommorow. I felt like whatever is going on is more than they can or want to deal with in the ER there. SO now I have to shave because my GYN is too hot to handle. I like to have more time to prep to see him mentally,lol. He is unbelievable gorgeous. If he wasn't so damn good as a Dr I would change. It is hard to think around him... lol..

Amen sister! I think the more I loose the more they drag, but they are still so big they are hurting me. It is enough to drive me nuts. Blah...

Hello my ladies, Well I had a nice trip to the ER yesterday. We thought it was my appendix, but turned out not to be. I have several cysts on my ovaries ready to burst. SO I am in pure hell. They sent me home with Vicadin but it is not helping that much. It hurts so bad. I was told this is probly the beginning of my problems with this. I am in hell, and in pain like nothing ever before. I probly won't be on again soon, I am going to lay down and try to sleep it off. I had a CT Scan last night, with a hot guy. Forgot to tell him about the band, he ran out in the middle fo the procudure and asked "What is on your stomach? Are you ok?" lol...oooooppps forgot to tell him. After I told him what it was and how much I had lost he said "You look amazing, I never would have guessed." that made me smile amoungst the pain.

Thanks for all of the kudos. But I want you all to know that I didn't do anything that all of you can't do as well. If I can do it, anyone can! Spanx are underwear like stuff that sucks you in all over. It takes care of the "Muffin Top" as I call it, you know all of that stuff that hangs over in your jeans. For me it is skin now. If you get them always get the long ones, they are worth the extra money you will have NO ROLLS at all!

BJ I think it depends on the before whether they do implants or not. I am going to get them, I want pretty boobs again! lol...but I have a friend who did a wonderful life without them. My nreasts not in the bra look like dragged down pankcakes....in the bra they are gorgeous FFF's...lol look very decieving in a bra! A good Dr Bjean will make the girls look like they did when you were 21 and perky! That is what I want!

It works better that way, I find them very filling and a good fix for the sweet tooth. If we totally deny we will end up in trouble! Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!

Ok ladies, help me with this one!! I was at a meeting this morning and afterwards I was talking to a client. I have known him for about 5 years now. He congratulated me on my weight loss, and asked how much I had lost. I had no problem telling him. After he smiled and said "Thank god you didn't loose the boobs. They look great." smiled and then gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. No joke. I wanted to beat the crap out of him. So how do we handle completely inapprioate comments without being a b*tch?? I just walked away....ugh...

Confession 4… I was fat, but not lazy or stupid or just plain ignorant, despite popular opinion… If I had a quarter for every time I had been treated rude, gotten “The Look”, or just ignored because of my past appearance I would be rich. But the saddest part is, I don’t think at the time I realized just how bad it really was to be fat in the eyes of others. While some people are blatantly rude, the ones that are the worst are the ones that you can’t tell that they are being truly condescending until you meet them on the other side of life. Now I am amazed by the smiles on the streets, the doors not shut on my face, and the cordiality of people. It has been such a stark contrast to the past! It becomes something that you try to get used to, being treated bad for just being fat. But saying just fat, is like someone else saying they are just black, or purple. You can’t hide it, everyone sees it. Being fat is another way to be judged or looked down upon before you even open your mouth. In a society all about being beautiful, being fat just doesn’t fit in, and most people have no problem telling others, that fat people are disgusting. There were many times that I knew I had to be able to justify myself more than anyone else because of my weight. My ideas, no matter how good they were, were preceded by the fact that I was thought of as fat or lazy. My knowledge and merit alone never stood as it should have in any situation. I always tried to not let it stop me, but the fact it, when you know all eyes are on you and you get the feeling you are being judged you can’t help but judge yourself as well.

Voodoo, I feel your pain. I was an 11, and now anywhere from a 9-9.5!! I love it. You will loose some size and be amazed at the pretty shoes that will be available for you then! Trust me, it rocks!

Jacki First let me welcome you to LBT. I am sorry your sister is having trouble, it is not the norm at all. Most will tell you that something is wrong. Does she have allergies at all by chance? I throw up alot when I do not take my allergy medication. That being said, I think you should research all of your options, but with any weight loss you may have loose skin. Some people have less than others though. Hope you find out all that you need to know to make an informed decision! Good luck!

It is more than likely due to swelling in your stomach, it should get better. When I get an unfill my Dr puts me on liquids for a week.

I am not an executive, but a business coach, so I have alot of the same issues. For the food, I have learned to work my way around a plate and look like I ate a normal amount and haven't really. I also will eat a protien bar before and tell everyone that my stomach is just not feeling well if I do not want to eat in front of anyone. It helps if you don't know them. Some of my associates do know now, a year later and they tell me that they never had a clue. As for the suits, I buy 1 good suit that I can work in different ways. Three piece suits are great. You can pair the skirt with a nice blouse as well when you can go a little bit more casual. Play it up with GREAT accessories and you will be amazed at what you can do with the same suit! Nordstrom's Rack has also been a great help, I do not want to pay full price when I hardly wear it long. I do drink but limit it to 1 glass a function because I do get tipsy very easily now.
