  1. Wow Pam, I am so glad your daughter is ok after that! I didn't know that bells was a possible side effect, I am guessing they didn't tell you either!
  2. Ok, yummy, if you are doing it for YOU then you are doing it for the right reason. If you are sdoing it for him you are NOT!! Trust me, I am very experienced in this area! Feel free to PM on that subject... As for telling him, I think you have to do it to have an honest relationship. If you think he is going to try to talk you out of it, then tell him on the way there! I am just amazed that he knows nothing as of yet. Don't let him discourage you in anyway.
  3. Ok yummie I can tell you that I almost chickened out as well. AND I got mine here in the states with my family. So I think you going to Mexico doesn't cause you to be scared! If you are ready to make the committment and change then you should do it. Many people have done it in Mexico, so please don't be scared of that! It is a decision that will change your life for the better, but any change is scary! I am so glad now that I didn't chicken out, it has paid off! Good luck!
  4. I agree that adoption fees are high, but some of the fees are necessary. We are only looking at the documentation end of it, there is also the amount of money to take care of the child until adopted ect. But there is a line that needs to be drawn in the sand. We were going to adopt, but we could never afford the fees. I agree that you don't want just anyone adopting, but why only people with HUGE amounts of money to spare? A middle class family can raise a child just as well as an upper middle class, but could never afford the fees.
  5. I absolutely agree Baby! I don't think she had any real idea what was going on. My grandpa was a big fan of the show, and I met Jim Bakker when I was like 7 or 8. He creeped me out then and I wasn't even old enough to know a damn thing. I don't think she knew entirely what was going on. She was raised I am sure to stand by her man and obey, so I doubt if she even questioned anything!
  6. Brandi---YOU are a god woman, I say Athena!! OR maybe Venus. You shouldn't be surprised one bit QT! You deserve it!! Steph--You will loose the weight one pound at a time. Something that I have to tell myself daily is that it HAS to come off the same way it got on there, 1 pound at a time! Bandiva--it shouldn't feel weird that you are being noticed now! Hope we are all having a great week! HUGS to all.
  7. I am so sorry Jewels and Pelo. I am sure that you can make it work for you both! You made a committment with the surgery, and it can be done. We all make bad food choices once in awhile, we have to pick ourself up and not do it again. Good luck. If I can help either of you let me know!
  8. Hello my lovely ladies~ Well I made it back from the trip without killing mommy dearest. I even manage to let most of her b.s. roll off my back! She did say something wonderful that made me happy! She told me I was beginning to look like Dolly Parton. All boobs and a tiny waist. That made feel good, and I took it as a compliment! Had a great time with the girls all weekend and David was on his best behavior. He was very nice. Quite a change. We went tubing and for once I didn't feel like a beached whale in a bathing suit. That felt great. We were looking at pictures yesterday and Brooke said "There is fat Mommy. I hate fat Mommy. She needs to work out." It totally surprised the hell out of me. I told her that was me, and she said "No, you aren't fat." I was sad, and tried to talk to her about it, but it is hard. She is 8 and absolutely hates me fat. Kids can be strange. I have no scale anymore. David took it away from me. :think For my own good of course. I am going to see how long I can go without it. I was a bad girl all weekend. I had smores and other junk. BAD BAD!! Good thing there is no scale here.
  9. That is right, we always need the deaf Cabana Man!
  10. Ok Princess, arms down they look AWSOME. Arms up yes, I can see what you have a problem with. I have been reasearching PS and I think we are alike. I don't really care if they look natural, they need to look perfect to me. But I am conflicted because arms down, they are drop dead gorgeous girl! I would talk to the Dr NOW about options, and then decide. They need to know you have a problem now to be able to fix it later. But I would not rush into any decision yet. They do look pretty damn great.
  11. I lost a ton of hair for about 6 months starting at month 5 or so. I am almost 1 year and it has slowed down. I tried Biotin, and nutrition. Didn't help me that well. BUT it is better and I am feeling less freaked out. I did go out and get a nice cut to make it LOOK fuller too. That helped me feel less critical about myself.

lol...Meth? Good lord that girl has problems. She may be the BB twist! lol... I think Jen is in TROUBLE now! WOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
  13. JIL--CONGRATS to you girl! Woo hooo!!!!!!!!!! Annie--I am feeling alot like you as well. My "best friend" only calls me when she needs some money or something. Or when she wants to totally bitch about her man. I have made some very dear friends on here, but still not the same as someone here with you! Nat--I typically gain about 5 during Aunto Flo, so I think it is possible. You have to think about all the extra water we retain then. So it isn't you, blame horrible PMS. I am off for the weekend with my parents and the family. I am so not looking forward to it. I am begging to hate my mom after her bypass. All she does is compete with me, nothing I do is good enough on its own. And now she is having pretty severe problems with her bypass, and insitant that I am sick as well. Dumb ass. I can not get her to understand that I loose by portion control NOT malnutrition as she does. How can you have a surgery and not know all the facts??? Ugh....Wish me luck girls. If I run away will someone come get me? lol... Hugs Brandy
  14. Sounds like a plan to me. But in all seriousness by paying attention to this at all we are giving the troll what they want!
  15. Good Steph, let us know how it goes! Good Luck. I have been in the exact situation Steph, and I really started loosing after a VERY VERY small unfill! Va--I only know because I have been there! Book is doing well, oin chapter 6 now! I will try to post some later! Thanks for asking! MRs---NEVER EVER trust the scale if you weigh yourself more than 1 time a day. It will NEVER be right. Weigh 1 time a day in the am after a tinkle. ANd ONLY then!
  16. Steph to me it sounds like you are what my surgeon calls the Red Zone. Not a good place to be! It can mean you are actually too tight, I have had unfills before. She told me you eat the bad stuff because it is full of fat so it can slip down easier. The good stuff doesn't go down because you are too tight! Good luck and welcome back.

I hope another houseguest takes that damn red leotard while Jen is in the shower and uses it to choke her to death. I think all of America would be on their side. Do you think we could get America's player to do it?? lol... Not that he is good at any assignment as of yet! lol... he did one crappy job of sleep walking. What was he thinking?? I am ready for Joe to go, he sucks too. He reminds me of a snotty high school girl. Ugh....
  18. I don't think the band ever will be, but the port does stick out as you loose!
  19. Hey my girls! How are we all doing? I got a small fill today, not that I really needed it. I lost 11 pounds since last month. Almost to goal! WOOOO HOOO! Dr said they would help me promote the book as well so I need to get my ass in gear to finnish it!
  20. I was a binger as well. Almost weekly. I did it once after the band, and will NEVER do it again....trust me you will be ok! I voted for the baby too! I saw it on another thread!
  21. Hi Dorthy Welcome! Read and investigate lots! Always remember that everyone is different so what you read may not be the case for you! Wish you best of success!
  22. Thanks Nancy. I had surgery about 1 year ago now, on August 1st of 2006.
  23. WOW! Congrats Gayle! I bet you feel like a new woman! I hope that I am as lucky as you are and loose that much from what I call my muffin top.
  24. There are somethings that you just won't be able to eat with the band. For me it is bread. If you are getting stuck now, without restriction I would be very careful down the road. And remember just because something is ok 1 day does not mean it is ok the next!
  25. Ihave become aware of my band now, but it is not weird or hurting. Sometimes when I cough I can feel it or if I gag or PB. Nothing major and I certainly don't think about it 24/7. I think it is good that I can feel it. It reminds me sometimes "Hey don't eat that" Of course the freaking port as I get smaller is another thing....I am so sick of it.... blah....in the way now when I want to sleep. :notagree
