  1. Hey, I have a new stomach-ass low. Today while doing burpees Burpee - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia essentially a hyper fucked up way to do pushups. Squat down, extend you body into a pushup, do one, pull your knees under you and jump up like a fool. Repeat 15 times. Anyway the sequence of activities allowed for air to get under the flaccid belly, otherwise know as the "stomach ass", then a forced movement of the belly pushed the air out quickly, so I had the awkward fart noise coming from my body...Sad enough I'm super jellyfied, with the occational slapping sound, but the FART was horrific.
  2. Happy Thanksgiving Family!!! Gobble Gobble
  3. Oh and in the interest of TMI, I HATE the slapping sound of by flaccid stomach against the top of my thighs. It's horrifying.
  4. I do both...I travel the length of the empty fitness center doing the skip/jump and I stand in one place doing both feet at one time. I'd say I do both feet more than I skip/jump.
  5. I've made a dutch apple, sweet potato and a custard pie. That's to go with the chocolate cake. I'm loving this food fest I get to cook for everyone. I'm having such a good time doing it. I just don't cook like this for myself. Can't imagine why?! XO ya'll
  6. Awe shucks you all are so nice. I could go on and on about the band, and bore you to death, but to boil it down to three things: Expect to frustrated with the process at times. Start exercising now and set goals. I started doing 10 minutes of cardio in October last year. You've got to start somewhere. Do your best to journal your food. Know what you are putting in your mouth. Don't just guess. There you go.
  7. You kill me. And that's Friday when I get to Michigan.
  8. I've actually added it to my routine. I shoot for 5 minutes. Of course I stop and catch my breath and drink Water many times during those 5 minutes but it's part of my workout now. I started by only doing 10 jumps too. Holy crap that was hard!
  9. Jen, Take some time for yourself and get back to the plan. Get a fill, journal your thoughts, set some attainable goals. Of course you can lose the weight again. And more.
  10. Hi, I don't get out to the main board often. I just hit my regular threads. It's taken me a few days to catch your thread. I feel strongly about this issue. I didn't get my first fill until I was 5 months out because I was losing 10 pounds a month or more. There's a finite amount of fill they can give you, so I opted to get a fill when I needed it, not when it was expected of me. I cried when my surgeon said, let's wait. We get all excited about having fills and counting the Fluid in the band and comparing stats. It's rather silly. The further you get away from your band date, the fewer things there are to compare to others. This is an indvidual journey. I'm scheduled for my second fill in a few weeks. Again, each person is different on what they want from this process and what they are willing to do. I work out like a maniac and want to get enough nutrition to keep my energy up. So I don't stress until I start eating over 1700 calories daily and my weight loss slows to a trickle. Then I'm like let's get a fill. You'll find the measures for yourself. Some people say, "Oh, I can eat an entire sandwich, I must get a fill." Some do it based on the calendar. You do have restriction just by having the device on your stomach. For some it's enough. You'll find out what works for you. XO
  11. Don't you hate when you post an incomplete sente
  12. B Running is amazing, not as fun as biking, but I'm really starting to dig it. Cool on meeting the number on the ticker. It's offical my WO buddy and I are running February 17th! SaWEET. I'm cooking like a fool come the end of my work day, but I'm so excited. Can I tell you I'm excited too about being able to negotiate tomorrow's huge meal without stressing about eating too much etc. I know I'll eat more calories than typical, because I'm gonna eat pie, but I know I'm not going to be this overstuffed, unmoveable, resentful of my out of control, sloth. There's something to be really thankful for, right there. 2007 has been a fantastic year.
  13. Hi Special K, I want to say I followed all the rules. And truth is I did/do most of the time. Right now I'm have a tough go of it. Be prepared for some emotional ups and downs with the band. It's the best thing in the world, getting the band. I can't tell you how happy I am with it. But there are times where you get tired and pouty and you just have to deal with emotional stuff food used to smother. I'm having one of those periods now. But I know well enough that it will pass. Keep us posted on your progress.
  14. BG, You're on way to SUPER ROCK STAR status! Woo HOO! I bumped my running/walking to 30 minutes in stead of twenty. I'm shooting to run a 5K February 17th. Tomorrow I'll be doing the new "I want my Mommy" workout. I did it yesterday and it rocked! My workout buddy and I are going to do the 5K together. Yee HAW!
  15. ZZ, They's be capris on you! They were purchased "short" as opposed to "tall" or "long" and I still had to hem them. I think I'm the shortest one on this thread! I know BG and HP are taller than me. TBS and TX either of you close to 5'2"? Get a girl's back here.
  16. Look at you picture girls!!!!!!! ZZ, meeting your goal is amazing and you look great! D, Check you out?! You look fantastic!!!!!!!!!
  17. No you have to have the bugg serial number to access parts of the site. At least that's what I think...could be wrong.
  18. Oh and ZZ CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! That's a great feeling! How tall are you? I have some 24 and 22 that I bought this fall (they are current style) that I'm getting to small for. But I'm 5'2''. I offended my sister when I offered them to her.
  19. Well give us a pic with them on today, silly!
  20. BG. I looked up the muddybuddy thing. Depending on the weekend, YOU ARE ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't have next year's schedule posted. But Chi-Town was the first weekend in August. If it's the same this year I'll partner up with you. Do you think our height difference will matter? What a freaking riot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. It's the best thread on LBT. And no one knows it. I kind of like it that way!!!
  22. D, I want to see your avatar bigger. Attach a photo, won't cha? I know what you mean about strutting your stuff. Amen! I also know what you mean about getting back to the -10 a month. My average the last 4 months has been -5. I get a fill on the 30th. I'll be mentioning that over and over again between here and there. B- You are so generous to offer your services. TX- Who in their right mind would ask anyone to medicate their ass unless they were actually incapacitated? That's some closeness I never had with a sweetheart let alone a roommate. UGH!
  23. Oh, Baby....hating on the girl parts... Can we call them anal warts instead?
  24. You sound crotchity.
  25. D You are a rock STAR!
