  1. demsvmemjm Okay, I wrote "Mary" yikes, that is your name, right? It used to be in your signature line... Regardless of your name, if I messed up, sorry but you really look amazing!
  2. Mary You look fantastic!!!! Way to go!
  3. HP, what's going on?
  4. My camp site is 363. You're close by. Look for the dude in the hammock. The site to the ride start is 27.65 miles or 37 minutes according to mapquest. HP was right on with her thinking. I have a 3.5 hour drive from Columbus to the camp. I'm stepping out of work at 3...I should be there about 7. (I've got to get the kid from school, so south then north...) JC can you clear my spot of sticks and stones, since you'll be there early and in daylight? Pretty please with sweet & low on top? I'll be setting up at dusk and want to do it as quickly as possible. I'm so stoked, I'm giddy like a kid. The paper is done. What would you like to know about Starbuck's financials, history and my opinion about its future? Now off to the gym. I don't have time for a bike ride, though tonight is the last Tuesday night ride of the season. I have to mow the lawn and study for the final. I don't heart school right now. Oh and BG, I didn't have bologna at work today but I made squishy lunchmeat salad and it was delicious. All I could think is that it would have been a million times better made with bologna.
  5. Must w r i t e p a p e r . . . .
  6. if only she were a baby...she's 50 ish and also looks like she's been playing in mommy's make-up bag. I guess I walked around with blinders thinking that weighing 300+ pounds wasn't HORRIBLE...I'm sure she thinks she's beautiful and smells fantastic. Ack.
  7. Don't let your sister get to you. She probably doesn't get just how offensive that was. It took you a few days to gel into it too. Which doesn't make it less offensive, it just isn't the first thing you thought of... She doesn't get it....that's all.
  8. BG I have a coworker who must dunk her entire body in a vat of cheap perfume daily. UGH.
  9. JC Doesn't 18 automatically equal brilliant decision making? I still feel like a dumbass most of the time and I'm nearly 40.
  10. I won't snag your daughter if you don't take mine. Deal?
  11. Ghost Great thread. Thanks for your candor. I just found it, but I'll be tunning in as you move forward and sending you all the good JUJU I can for a quick recovery!
  12. Khanson That's so hard. I feel for you. Ugh! How frustrating. Well, I can tell you what a well meaning soul told me when I hit a plateau and was complaining about it. She asked if eating more would help me lose, and I answered no. She asked if exercising less would get me over my hump and I told her she was crazy and no way. So she look at me with compassion and said, "Sounds like you need to dig a little deeper and work your way through this." It may come across as harsh in type and even when I share the story with people they are like, "what a bitqch" But she's not a sarcastic person and she's has seen her share of struggles so she comes from a good place of understanding. So, maybe you can find that reserve and dig your heels in deep and eat a little less or move a little more or be more structured in how you track your activities and you will beat the weight off your body. You can and you will. Good luck to you and come back here for all the support you need.
  13. JC That's craziness. Bastards. I'm glad you're getting away, just so you can get some rest biking, running and exercising otherwise! What a long ass day. Zoe got her new bike today. Isn't it cute?! We even got the streamers.
  14. My mom is a Banded Biker Babe
  15. Okay, I made the iron ons.... The little girls are a little smaller than the big girls, "My mom is a Banded Biker Babe" The fellas have Banded Biker Babe Magnet for theirs. The S/Os have I'm with a Banded Biker Babe. Hehe, I feel like this is so real! We are actually going to meet! How cool is that?!? D and B, you need to tell me what size shirts you want. (Then you have to give me your addresses so I can mail them to you too.) You can send me work addresses if you're worried about me being psycho and knowing where you live or you can wait until the others meet me and see what they think...I'm pretty regular...
  16. I used to eat in on those "tear your mouth apart" bagel chips... "ground bologna" drooly Homer Simpson voice.........................
  17. I love bologna salad, that's what I call your recipe. Delicious! I want to make some now. I lived off of blended meatloaf when I was in the mushy stage..it looked like vomit, but it made me uniquely happy. I'm going to the bike shop tonight to see about getting Zoe fitted for a bike...I don't know what size to buy for her...then we are going to Target or Walmart to get a bike, unless they have a cheap kid's bike... However, I'm stoked about maybe finding something for myself. I heart the bike shop.
  18. No hyphen it is. the iron ons are done.
  19. HP, Congrats on the 4 pound loss btw. I know it's coming off slowly and you don't feel much restriction but you are losing! Woo Hoo! Off to the gym.
  20. First of all how do you write, "babe magnet" Babe-Magnet or Babe Magnet? Hyphen or no? I need an answer quickly. I've printed all but the dude's shirts. Secondly, I'm not prepared to eat at the camp ground. I am going to a restaurant. Sorry, HP. Even if I were home the idea of a huge ride, then showering then cooking in a decent kitchen wouldn't appeal to me. Eating camp food is even less appealing. I'm going to be hungry and if the food is tough or burnt or gross I'll be more pissy than BG when Michigan loses. I appreciate the idea of being cheap, but those cost savings are happening for me by camping and not staying at a hotel. However, we don't need to do EVERYTHING together. If it's a burden to eat out we'll just go seperately. And B- I have my finance final on Thursday! I can't wait! Holy crap it's been a long 6 weeks. I'm going into it with an A, but it's worth 300 points. I could lose a lot! And probably will! This school and work stuff is nuts.
  21. Had a blood draw at the surgeon's this morning. They are so slow there. Just take my blood and let me get on with things. I didn't even want to see the doc. I'm doing good. I've got my TO DO lists made for the week. It's going to be busy for me as well....good thing I'm under employed at work. I can get things done for my real life as I sit here getting paid. BTW, Chicken is the food of the DEVIL. I've not been able to eat it for a full month! My restriction is loosening so I'm trying it again. ACK, not working! I am thrilled to be eating veggies again though! Woo Hoo! BG you are just a big o' kid, hanging out with the old people this weekend. Can't wait to meet cha. That's for all of you. JC and HP. D and B, wish you were coming as well. But we'll get it together one day, I'm sure.
  22. ManhBill It's so good to have you join us! Sounds like you've got a great support system! Good for you. Welcome, welcome. Juli
  23. yo, you need someone else to battle with...because I don't really care about OSU and even less so of their football team. I don't own any gear, and only because it is expected where Zoe goes to school to sport scarlet and grey do I buy her a few items. (And she was born at OSU hospital...as was my surgery...) But whatever.... And I am refraining from taking any shots at your maize and blue. Did you go to school there?
  24. Oh and another thing. I have a niece who's 20. She hasn't seen me since I was banded. All her life she's been told she looks like me, but all her life I've been obese. Well today she freaked out when she saw me. Not just wow, you look great joy that I'm getting pretty frequently, but "Holy COW, you look like ME!" Our hair is about the same color and length too, so I pulled it down... it was a cute NSV. If I only had her body and youth! She's built, as they say. Okay, now studying for real.
