  1. Ditto. It does make me want to ask the people using it what exactly they're thinking.
  2. One thing you should remember about the Nectar products is that you shouldn't shake them. They foam up really badly. They don't mix as well without shaking them, but it can be hard to drink if you do.
  3. Which ones have you tried? I've bought Matrix Chocolate (not wonderful, but edible), Whey Gourmet Chocolate Peanut Butter (extremely good, IMO), IDS Multi-pro Vanilla Cinnamon (very good, also), and Nectar Fuzzy Navel (pretty decent).
  4. What I would really like to do is get a group together and everyone share samples of their protein stuff. Each person buys one or two containers of protein and sends everyone a sample or two. Hunting down samples of stuff is a pain in the ass. By the time you buy a bunch of samples, you might as well have bought an entire container.
  5. You could also make tea, either decaf or regular. You can get big boxes of tea bags or instant tea for cheap, and if you want it sweet you can just add some splenda or equal or something.
  6. Centrum Complete Chewables are pretty good. Orange-flavored.
  7. Where did you buy them from?
  8. Can I just say that you are my hero? :hail: :sleep
  9. Yep, I'll bet you'll be a frequent poster to Things I Learn From My Patients part 02 - Page 2 - Student Doctor Network Forums. It's very interesting to read about just how stupid people can be.
  10. To further illustrate my point, I just made a post on another thread. The time stamp on the post was 11:59 PM, yet the clock on my computer says 12:19 AM.
  11. I really wish I had gotten to visit Boston when I interned on Cape Cod. Unless I fall madly in love with a small town or get an amazing job in one, I will never live somewhere that's not urban. I LOVE cities. I've had enough of rural, BFE towns. I want shopping, restaurants, and actual culture. Preferably on the coast.
  12. But yeah, that's one reason I'm not fond of small children. Shit, snot, and puke all make me want to puke.
  13. Blood and pus are cool for me, as long as I don't smell it. My dad did a necropsy on a rottweiler a few months ago that had apparently died of internal hemmoraging. I gagged when I walked in the room. That old blood smell, you know?
  14. Yes, yes, he is. :eyebrows::faint:
  15. Thank you! And right back at you! Sometimes the best online friendships come out of having an argument, so hopefully we'll see each other around on LBT.
  16. I think I would have quit. I know one thing, as much as I love Mike Rowe and Dirty Jobs, I don't envy them at all.
  17. I think we have reached an agreement to disagree! This is the start of a great friendship!
  18. Eh, we have a little bit of a wolf-pack here on LBT. But we just go after the stupid and insane. :heh:
  19. I can watch and help my dad do surgery on animals with no problem, but give me a whiff of diarrhea or vomit, and you better give me space to puke, too. VERY sensitive to odors.
  20. Poo makes me gag. That's one reason I didn't go into nursing. Weak stomach, sympathy barfer, etc.
  21. Aww. Reminds me of the Family Guy closet monkey.
  22. I'd get pissed off if I didn't see the same crap coming from conservative celebrities. I figure, if they've got the right to spout off, so do the liberal celebrities. Personally, I think they're all full of crap and don't know what they're talking about. That doesn't mean that I don't think they have the right to show how ignorant they are.
  23. But then you have people that were raised with values and were taught values, but still act violently, cruelly, and immorally. The Menendez brothers, for example.
  24. I have a POO SHEILD! Fling away!
  25. Probably not. But hey, that's their right to like them, too. They have just as much right to have hobbies and have opinions as the rest of us. That's why I don't get pissed off when a celebrity opens his or her mouth. I may not agree with them, but I don't think they should have to keep their opinions to themselves, either. I'm sure none of us would keep our mouths shut about our opinions if we were in the spotlight. It's like Newton's third law of motion: For every celebrity with a certain opinion, there's a celebrity with the equal and opposite opinion. Kind of balances out, you know?
