  1. It's more of a candy flavor, honestly. But, it's only 120 calories per serving, also, so you do get a nice peanut butter flavor without the calories.
  2. I haven't tried the crackers yet, so that would be great! A couple of samples of the strawberry and raspberry DaVinci flavors sounds yummy, too.
  3. Hey WASa, I'm mailing you a sample of another protein mix. It's a little sweet, but you may like it.
  4. If anyone is interested in trying the Whey Gourmet Chocolate Peanut Butter, here is a link to where you can buy it. Believe me, it's very good. Tastes a lot like Reece's peanut butter cups.
  5. What types of tea do you like best? I love plain Ceylon tea, as well as Assam.
  6. Suuuure it wasn't. :madgrin::confused: Drink up! It's yummy!
  7. Oh, man.... That sounds painful. Hopefully you will be feeling no pain soon.
  8. And by the way.... It's MINE, I tell you, MINE!:hungry:
  9. You had me scared for a second there, WASa! Before I clicked on the thread, I was wondering if I did something!
  10. Good for you, Wheetsin! What the heck did she expect you to do, let your toe bleed all over the store?!
  11. I have four types of protein powder and a very small kitchen. And of course, each of the protein powders came in a freaking huge jug or giant bag. They should come up with a more convenient way of storing them. If you get any variety at all (I don't want to drink the same shake every single day), you wind up using all of your counter space!
  12. I can't believe I forgot you, Wendell! Along with Sunta, BJean, and FaithMD!
  13. Sometimes, I get very nauseated after I eat. I've noticed that the last few times it has happened, I had waited until I was very hungry before I ate. Have any of you had this happen?
  14. I'm afraid I'm not much fun in real life, folks. I'm quiet and very reserved. And to make matters worse, I can't have impassioned face-to-face discussions or arguments without bursting into tears. It never fails. Doesn't matter what the topic is, if I am emotionally involved in the argument I'm making, I start sobbing. It makes talking to people a real pain in the ass.
  15. I'd like to meet WASaBubbleButt, green, lisah25, Carlene, Tired_Old_Man, DerickM, neveragain, Wheetsin, mrspruitt, OH Julie, and Alexandra. And probably a bunch more that I've forgotten for the moment.
  16. I BADLY need new tops. I can't buy things off the internet, though, because I have to try clothes on before I buy them. Some things fit, others don't. There's never any pattern to it, though. I usually wind up buying very plain t-shirts, all the same style but different colors, just because it's so hard to find clothes that fit. Pants are the hardest. I carry much of my weight in my belly, so if I find pants that fit around my waist, they're usually baggy around my hips and absolutely cavernous around my butt.
  17. I was banded at the beginning of July, and I have 1.8 ccs in my band. I am going to get another fill next Wednesday, 10/3.
  18. I made a new thread about the topic that Wendell was posting about. The other one got deleted because its OP requested it, I guess.
  19. You can also buy a protein sampler pack from BariatricEating.com. If you do, I would get the one without the book, since the book mainly focuses on RNY.
  20. The thing is, Wendell wasn't talking about politics. I'd link you to the thread he's referencing, but it's gone now.
  21. It's true that it may take longer for you to reach goal. Just remember that you are more likely to stay at goal than someone who had RNY. There are a lot of people who had RNY that have to turn around and get a revision to another type of WLS when they regain weight down the road.
  22. Definitely the right choice! The pound police (and the food police, too) can go screw themselves. I'd say you definitely made that employee's day!
  23. This has been my first real NSV since surgery. Well, a couple of weeks after surgery, a couple of people said that they could see that my face was thinner, but that doesn't really count because they knew I had surgery. Anyway, I noticed today that I could pull my pants down without unzipping them (unbuttoned but not unzipped) and that my shirt was baggier than I remember it being. So I guess I need new clothes! It's a good thing that the last time I found pants that I liked, I bought three different sizes of them (when you're 5'3" and fat, and find something you like that fits well, you get several because you'll never find them again if you go back to look).
  24. Yeah, I've noticed some hair loss. I'm hoping it will stop soon. But I've experienced hair loss before, for no good reason. Maybe it's stress that does it. Between having surgery and trying to get my thesis done and preparing to take my comprehensive exams, I've been under a LOT of stress lately.
