haha I was thinking the same thing. if I told my kids i was getting a rubber band around my tummy they would be eating rubber bands to be like me!! I told my kids that I need to be healthy for them so I can watch them grow up. They are happy about that.

wow 30 days. I feel for you. I have to do 7 day liquid pre-op diet and that is only 5-6 Slim Fast a day. I am dreading it. But I feel your pain. stick with it.

its a fear that I have as well. My surgery is in November, but there are a lot of very supportive and knowledgeable people on this forum that will help calm your fears.
