  1. Stay positive! If you are following all the rules of the band and you are still not losing anything then why not another fill? See a nutritionist, do the 5 day pouch test ( google it for details), try a liquid diet for a couple of days. Are you exercising? These are all things you should be looking at. Talk to your doc, they may be able to give you more advice.
  2. any news? sending you positive vibes
  3. My doc said to wait 4 weeks, but I think it just depends on how comfortable you are.
  4. My only word of advice is to RELAX. If you follow all the rules and diets of the lapband you will lose weight. Everyone is nervous, just try and relax and focus on the start of a new you. This is the start of a happier and healthier you, and the lapband is the tool that will help make that possible! Good luck to you tommorrow, and I'm sending you positive vibes.
  5. Congrats and keep up the great work!
  6. Congrats to both of you! Remember to take on day at a time, and even though it is tough, it is well worth it. Good luck!
  7. Something is NOT right here. You need to demand that he do something, a series of tests, a fill under a fluro, something to see what is going on. I have never heard or read on here about saline dissolving in air. Remember you are your own advocate and you need to be now. Please let me know how things work out for you! Good luck!
  8. Most surgeon schedule a month out because of all the new referalls
  9. I would call your surgeon now! You definitely want to make sure there is not anything dangerous going on. Good luck to you.
  10. I was very nervous about this happening to me. I was told if you are eating enough protein and taking your vitamins, you should be okay. I have not yet experienced this and I hope I dont. Good luck to you.
  11. I would call and ask today if a lower bmi will affect you. Starting now could perhaps speed your process up a bit. Good luck to you!
  12. You look wonderful!!!!!!
  13. Keep calling and DEMAND to be seen. Even if it isnt anything, you should get it checked. Good luck to you!
  14. WOW!!! You are doing great! Keep up the great work.
  15. Congrats on the start of a happier and healthier you!!
  16. You could do the liquid diet as said, and take a water pill, you can get them at a pharmacy in where like the diet pills and things are. Be careful though because that is just for water weight!
  17. I couldn't have said it better myself. Good for you! You have to be an advocate for your own health, and it looks as if you've done that!
  18. I'm sorry you are having such a tough time. I do hope this new surgeon will ive you the answers to fix your problems.
  19. Hi Sam! Congrats on the start of your process. I too have federal bcbs, and I found that once the paperwork got there I bothered them everyday til they approved me lol. The process for them to approve was about 10 days, not too long considering what you see some people wait. I hope that your process is fast as well. Good luck to you.
