Hi my name is Denise, this is my story.  I started looking into wls about a year ago i did not get serious about pursuingg this until last summer, I picked my surgeon based off of all the positive info that was out there about him, i sent in my packet and waited anxiously to hear back from insurance......then i did finally and realized i had been denied.  Since that time period i have started and stopped ww and the hcg protocol so many times it would be just plain stupid to even try to remember how many.  I got serious about financing my own surgery by taking out loans which is the case now, i have taken out a studentt loan and a portion of my husbands 401k, i have just decided that I'm worth it and am finally ready to deal with this head on.  I have not always been overweight, as a matter of fact I proudly served my country in the U.S. Army and believe it or not joined in under the weight limit i was supposed to weigh 132 i weighed 130 WHAT I WOULD GIVE, but at that time i had just had a good run with the then famous metabolife, i was very active played sports and the such but i always new i liked food all to well and always had a secret love affair with it.  I have since decided that the secret has to be out and i must come out of the closet about this relationship me and food have been heinously involved in.  So i have decided to be banded after many bipolar episodes of should i, can i, this means I'm a failure if i can't do it on my own, this is it this is time for me to heal and live.  So i thank you for stopping in and getting to know me a bit.  Best of luck to all of you who are on this journey too.
