Carbs and Resistance Training
Ok Dont panic you are not out to get stronger just tighte or are you looking for muscle gainr - I am 52 and just started cross fit and got real educated quickly. My trainer said you will not get much stronger but will tighten up. You may have to switch your routine to develop the strength routine. My kid is a cross fit competitor and i just asked him, He stated regardless of age you can get stronger - but you need to switch to a Strength program and resistance is not it

T-5 days. Yikes!
The day of surgery you will go into the Pre Op area and get checked and ready to go to the OR. You will meet your doc and the sleep doc and go over some things. A nurse will clean your stomach and you will be in a Rolling bed - Tell the sleep Doc you are nervous and he will give you a med to help you relax, Then into the OR you get rolled and that was the last thing i recall one wiff of the happy gas and its lights out. For me i woke up in the recovery area with this nurse yelling at me to breath breath breath - This is my whole life of women yelling at me first thing when i wake up. Then its off to the room and Rest. As soon as you can and trust me on this Walk and move - The faster you get out of bed and move move move the better you will be, You need to get the air and gas moving out, So walk the halls as much as you can. I stayed on the morphine cuz i love drugs, but the pain was not bad at all and i was out in of there in less then 28 hours and home,
