  4. Going to Cuba Tommorrow for a week - Can not wait to try and figure out how and what to eat over there! - Did pack the powder and a few shakes and bars but this is going to be one hell of a adventure, I wonder if they have a whole foods over there
  5. I have a personal Nutritionist and from Day one she has said - Do not worry about volume or weight our goal is to keep you balanced and low calories. I to this day have never weighed a thing or measured a thing. I eat protein and vegetables and fruit till i am full. Which is about the amount of a baby food jar. For some reason i was lucky - I am never hungry and go days without eating anything. Enjoy eating i am told but eat right! I keep my calories below 600 a day and just now have tried to get up to 750 - That is a ton of salad! As for fluffy i think she is a bot! she has to much knowledge to be a human and is correct!

Nope 7 pounds a week is great - Do the math 7 pounds x 52 weeks = You BE SKINNY! This is a journey not a sprint- Keep up the good work and let time go by - STOP steeping on the scale
  7. My girlfriend who is a Doctor uses a SheFit system - She is insane in running and working out! Not cheap but she has a closet full of others and always buys these now.
  8. I threw the scale back in the box! Focus on getting healthy and in good shape! The actual number does not matter it is just a number - I have seen so many posts here of people stressing out over a number a scale says, I chose to go for fitting into the next size down of cargo shorts then what the scale says, I chose to get my vitamins and minerals in order, I chose to tighten the lose areas, NOT what the scale says.
  9. WTF - Why dont I ever meet girls that care this much about there guy!
  10. Do i what i did Buy a dog My lab puppy has been there for me the whole time@

  13. Your got it and unlike me i was not prepared and crashed bad - You have everything i can see but also get your head ready the head games are wicked - Best journey you will have -
  14. Way to early for food -you look at your plan and let you body decide when you are ready - For now i would suggest Pureed and I mean really pureed foods - Broths with pureed stuff in them= My savor at that state was broth with just a tad of lintels and pureed - Broth will fill you up fast but does go away fast also - slowly you will work your way to adding proteins. I must have made 100 egg drop soup pureed to get thru the first couple weeks
  15. First x mas as a wls member and I gotta say as i look back at this year the best F#$ckin thing I did. But i want to take minute to all those ahead of me that fed me all the info from this site. Thank you and i mean Thank you very much - you all made this journey so much easier, So lets share one secret to whipping being the fat guy or girl with all the new people and the to come WLS members Here is mine 1. I was not prepared for the mental prep and the post op plan! - So my suggestions is read read read this site and get you head ready - The wls is a tool and you better have the shop ready= Next this should be a mile long thread
  16. Congratulations can you tell me what I am getting for x mas since you are a day ahead
  17. You should be on as clear as you can liquids and Most of us did not start protein till 10 days out. But dont freak out if the broth is not crystal clear or the jello is yellow. The term clear means thin not thick liquids not really in terms of color. So no on the Cream of mushroom Broth or Tomato Broths But a chicken broth or beef broth is fine - as for protein they do make clear liquid protein drinks Yes you can strain Egg drop but get the eggs out and then VItamix it
  18. Not sure but never heard of a pastry being in post op diet - I agree with above follow a planned pureed diet -
  19. I would mix it up and take your time transitioning to purred to soft to solid foods -
