  1. Hmmm interesting. Okay thanks everyone.
  2. Been there I had the same problem but I gained 3 lbs. My surgeon said my body is use to having only liquids that when I started to incorporate soft foods, my body went into shock but don’t worry you’ll lose it quickly!
  3. What helped me with the sweet craving is my Calcium Citrate chews from Bariatric advantage Im caramel and peanut butter chocolate. Feels like I’m cheering when I have them.
  4. By the way on the 19th of this month I’ll be 4 months post op
  5. Not a subject I want to ask about buuut here I am. Is there such thing as late dumping? I had a couple things this weekend that I know I shouldn’t have and woke up this morning and till right now with a watery bowel movement. The only thing that I can think of that can be a reason to it is that I had 2% milk yesterday morning (normally I have Fairlife fat free) and it wasn’t even half a cup that I Drank. I ended up rushing to the restroom after about 2 oz in to vomit and it’s the only thing that came up. I’ve had a weird feeling in my stomach (not like a pain but like something similar to how you feel when bloated) and with a slight headache. I been good on my water until this weekend I lagged.

  8. It would come and go so much in the beginning like in my first month or two that my surgeon prescribed me anti nausea medicine. Since they prescribed I haven’t needed them but I carry them everywhere just in case
  9. For me the item changes all the time that causes me to get nauseous. I can be eating ground turkey and broccoli one day and the next day get sick.
  10. I had the sleeve but I’m 3 months post op. Yes I pass out.
  11. Following , what procedure did you get ? I don’t dump I get nauseous like you real bad too.
  12. Genepro un flavor add to your hot coffee
  13. Hello! I was in the same boat as you! I’m 22 and for the last couple of years I was doing my research on WLS. I had to get my gallbladder removed last year due to having some pain from the stones. My 2 week post op appointment the doctor who did it asked me if anyone has talked to me about WLS. And that’s how I got started, that very same day of DEC 5 2018. Now i am almost 3 months post op. My advice would be call your insurance or even go to your primary care doctor and ask about WLS and ask for a referral to a Bariatric surgeon. Have a consultation appointment and they can actually let you know before continuing the process what your insurance covers and what they ask of your
  14. I wore a baggy T-shirt and comfy leggings and my Birkenstock’s. And that’s all I needed. Besides clothes the other thing I used was my phone and charger as well as chapstick and lotion. Don’t over pack hehe
  15. I love Baritastic!
  16. What are you guys using to lighten up your scars? I’m Almost 3 months post op and my incision scars are still very dark. Also I’m almost a year post op from getting my gallbladder removed and those scars are still also dark.
  17. You want to stay as low as you can with sugar to none at all
  18. I would stay away from juice due to their amount of sugar they have
  19. For all my 3 month post op people! What are you eating and how much? What are you having for your protein? I’m getting tired of ground turkey, tuna and tilapia.
  20. Yes I actually had the rash on my sides and a big red circle around my incision but it was not infected. My surgeon had instructed me to carefully remove the glue at three weeks postop. But that was what my surgeon said I if I were you I would wait to see what yours tells you. Good luck
  21. Please be careful on what you eat! Were you allowed by surgeon to eat a bread stick? It is important to follow instructions so early on you don’t want to hurt your new stomach. I heard some people don’t feel the restriction till a couple weeks after.
  22. Yes, I can not eat more than 4 Oz still. Eggs and yogurt I can eat 5-6oz.
  23. How exciting! I personally only needed assistance to get up from the couch the day I got home and the day after. Even the day after being home I would only have my mother be next to me to help me if I asked her or showed that I needed help but that’s because my couch is quite sunk in and even before surgery Kinda hard to get out of the corner spot which was where I also slept for a few days until I was able to go upstairs to my bed.
  24. I am beyond happy! Now I only have 40 lbs to get to my first weight goal of 180 and total of 80 lbs to till I hit my ultimate goal of 140. Normally I weigh myself on Mondays but this week so many people at work such as parents and coworkers (I work at a school) Have commented “ hey skinny you” or “ hey smaller you”. So I have decided to weigh myself a little early yesterday morning, and I checked the scale three times because I couldn’t Believe what I saw on the scale. And not even a week I had lost 4.8lbs! Last week I lost 3.8 pounds. Before that for the last four weeks I had been losing only 2.8 and most pounds a week. So I started to do some YouTube research and people were upping There calories a little. And that is what helped me lose some more I just upped my calories by 100-150. So far so good. On the November 19 it will be my three month postop and I I have my three month postop appointment with my surgeon on the 18th, I cannot wait to see where I am at exactly 3 months. I am just So excited. I am only 11 weeks out
  25. A meal! And if you are one to want your coffee, I just discovered Atkins Cafe caramel! Pretty good if you like the coffee taste
