Tuesday I had my Pre-admitting appointment where I will be having my surgery and when they handed me my folder of information for surgery day with the soap and the breathing device, made everything more real. Can’t believe I only have 2 weeks and 2 days till Surgery Day!! I will be having my Pre-op Office visit with my surgeon on the 12th (anyone know what happens at the pre-op office visits?). I know the next two weeks will be going by fast .

How soon is too soon to purchase a few new items? Is 4 months too early to buy new clothes in a new size? My birthday is in December and I was thinking for my birthday I can reward myself with new sized clothing. How early did you start buying new sized clothing? (3 weeks and 2 days till surgery.... YAY!)

I was told no carbonated beverage especially soda because the carbonation makes your stomach expand. How my nutritionist explained is your stomach is a balloon and you put helium (the carbonation) into the balloon. What does the balloon do? It expands

Same with me but with occasional asthma when sick or during allergy seasons. My BMI is over 35 at the age of 22 and been told by my primary doctor that I need to loose weight because unless unless I want to be pre-diabetic or want any health issue to come my way. Weight loss diets and exercise didn’t work for me and trust me I’ve done challenges at one of the gyms I live near and I would maintain but eventually gain back the weight and even more

Yes! Hehe ya during this i was telling my mom that if they would get everything correct i wouldn’t be bothering them every other week. I actually have not gotten surgery yet. I was given a July 8th day but because of work I had to push it back so now I will be having it on August 19th. I have my pre administration at the hospital next Tuesday July 30th, August 12 my pre-op appointment with my surgeon and then surgery on August 19th at 9am ?

Congratulations we are surgery buddies!! I will be getting VSG on August 19th at 9am and I have my preregistration appointment at the hospital next Tuesday the 30th. And I meet my surgeon for pre-op on August 12 :)

Thank you, yes as much as I would like to use the one a day but my surgeon already gave me all the vitamins list I need to get with the daily intakes I will be needing

What brand of Vitamins are you taking?! I am on the look out for my vitamins for after surgery (30 days till). Are you using Bariatric brands or just regular store bought brands? I will be taking Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 sublingual, complete Multivitamin and a Calcium Vitamin . Does anyone use Nature Made brand? Thanks in advance!

I have 1 month and 5 days till surgery day, 2 weeks and 2 days till my pre-op testing in the hospital, 4 weeks and 1 day till my pre-op appointment with my surgeon. As days get closer I get exited but also anxious. How do you or did you deal with anxiety before and even after surgery if that makes sense hehe ? Thanks
