  1. hmmm I never thought about any of the pain I had being related to the hernia repair. I just chalked all that pain up to the gas but it did last about 10 days for me.
  2. Funny that I now too crave things I have never eaten before LOL
  3. Mourning is the perfect word! I did have to grieve for some of my faves I know I can no longer indulge in. Mainly bread and pastas!
  4. the caramel is really good too!
  5. find a bariatric support group, ask your doctor to point you in the right direction. some folks here still see a nutrition therapist too. the fact that you know it is in your head is great! that is half the issue. good luck!
  6. Tyr "better than bullion" in the baked chicken flavor. it is really good.
  7. I was on full liquids thru day 21, then to purees but I could have yogurt, no fruit, and of course the jello UGH
  8. my experience has been way different from most of the posts I read here, mostly because of my surgeons approach to pain management, diet, and follow-up. I had a pain pump for 4 days, this alleviated all but the soreness in getting in and out of bed. I have had no nausea, sliming or vomiting, except once when I overate. I have lost 50lbs post op. I am 4 months out. please don't be discouraged. we all have our stresses and issues.
  9. Probably "head hungry" rather than actually hungry. I am nearly 4 months out and have yet to feel truly hungry.
