  7. I used to love chips and salsa at our favorite Mexican restaurant. I tried one small chip last night and the oil or whatever it was cooked in tasted gross! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  12. I had the exact same problem. Sleeping was absolutely awful for those first few weeks. I had a ton of pillows that helped keep me upright. I can finally sleep on my sides without any pain. Before surgery I was a stomach sleeper but I still can't really do it. It will get better each day. I promise!
  13. I am 8 weeks and I have been hovering around 307-306 for over a week now. it's been driving me crazy!!!!!!! I think you get spoiled because in those first few weeks you see the scale changing every day and once I started on regular food that is when the stall started. Arrrrgh!!!!!!
  14. I had surgery March 11. I had excruciating pain following surgery. It was absolute hell. The pain meds only subdued it slightly. I feel 98% better now. Just try and stay on top of the pain with meds as best you can and rest as much as you can. The pain WILL get better. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I am 7 weeks tomorrow. I've had watermelon, cantaloupe, raspberries, blueberries....in very small quantities. I am hyper focused on getting protein in and drinking enough water. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  19. Why am I getting hungry so often throughout the day? I had 75 grams of protein today... my nutritionist said that was a good amount for where I'm at. But I feel so hungry. I'm feeling so frustrated. I read about other people who say they have no appetite and how great it is blah blah blah... I feel dizzy when I stand up as well...and have no energy. I started at 349 and am at 308... I know this may sound dumb or whatever..but I felt so much better before this surgery. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. I couldn't stomach the milk of magnesia....I use miralax that you dissolve in liquid. It has no taste and its clear. No chalky texture or grainy. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. The first month is the worst. Dont worry though, things will get better and easier!!!!! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  30. I'm on week 5. Soft foods permitted. But I take two or three tiny bites and I have to burp and then I don't feel like eating more...then food gets cold... then I'm hungry again in about an hour and the whole process starts over again! When can I just eat and not be in this horrible cycle?? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  31. I was in terrible amounts of pain for close to two weeks. The first week was a scene straight out of hell. My pain was always near a 7 or 8. It never got below that while I was in the hospital. I'm a month out now and my stomach is just a little sore. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  32. I am one month out from sleeve surgery and I still have soreness on my stomach. I use a heating pad and that seems to help some. Someone on here once said that her nurse said to her... you've basically been stabbed 5 times in your stomach. Of course it is going to hurt! You are definitely not alone in the pain department! 33. I'm so sorry you have to go through this that way. I really hope your mother comes around and starts helping you more. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
