I feel like yesterday (day after surgery) was excruciating. Today may be mildly better, but I want to cry every time I stand up/sit down or walk. I have a high pain tolerance, so this is freaking me out a bit. I anticipated more soreness than pain. I have some pressure from gas, but it’s really the left side of my abdomen near the incision where the stomach was taken out that’s killing me.
I’m also constantly sipping during a hours when I’m awake. Everything burns going down. Milk may be the easiest to drink. I am definitely not hitting water and protein goals because I am going so slowly, as hard and I’m trying.
