December 2018 Sleevers!
I only weigh in once a week, keeps me from obsessing! you can gain/lose up to 5-6 lbs of water daily so I don't sweat it. I am 8 weeks out and down 40 lbs. one third of the way to my goal. I am right there with you on that 'one bite too many' I can tell right away when it is too much. I have only really overaten once and it was stress/emotions related. gotta learn to conquer that!

Insurance Approval

30 second elevator interview
I am 52, mother of four, grandmother of four, have 4 furbabies.....hmm seeing a pattern. lol My youngest has special needs so a lot of my energy goes to him. He is part of the reason I did this. My partner is a great source of support and I am hoping she may take the same steps soon, for her health.

Starting back to work next week
I meal prep a lot. so ill do baked chicken breast, or if I'm lazy get a big rotisserie chicken from sam's or make turkey meatloaf for protein. we always have sliced turkey and ham in the fridge, then I grab various veggies and stuff, yogurt, sugar free jello or pudding, beef jerky for snacks.

Baby food
Most store bought baby food has NO nutritional value anyway. it is mostly rice. My doctor advised me to stay away from it all together. PLUS it is GROSS lol

After surgery, ever eat food you shouldn’t?
Not until about 5 weeks in... I ate 4 mcdonalds French fries...that is all I could hold. I also tried FRITOS, my very most favorite snack. no issues with either but have been being pretty strict

Has surgery 10 days ago, I was so excited Now Iam so depressed
It is so interesting to see the difference in experiences, everyone is different. Please don't let this get you down, we have all been there. This is why we are here, to share our fears, get a boost and a "Chin up girl"! The liquid stage is hard but you should be able to soon tolerate yummy things like yogurts, and pudding, jello and pureed fruits! My saving grace////Lemon meringue yogurt with a dollop of sugar free cool whip. PROTEIN AND DESSERT.

You can get the Bariatric vitamins on Amazon. Around $50 for 90 days supply. B12 is super important. I take a separate B12 supplement. I take the bariatric advantage multi vitamin.

Help me! I’m miserable.
I have taken omeprazole for years so my doc doubled my does after surgery just to be safe. The cough is definitely indicative of GERD or any type of reflux. get some OTC to try. if it helps then get your doc to prescribe it for you if ins will cover, as long term it can get pricey!

Beef in soft food stage?
that is going to be different for everyone. I did not eat any meat other than chicken the first six weeks and stuck with soft rotisserie type. A friend who had surgery two days after me was eating roast at three weeks, a little indigestion and constipation, but no other issues. Listen to your body. it will tell you what it likes!

Advanced skin corrector creams! What are you using to help out your skin?
At age 52 my breasts are certainly beyond help LOL but I have noticed on my face, neck and chest I am starting to see the difference. a good firming cream should help. the nerium products have a riming cream that worked pretty well for me on my upper legs

Dear Week 3 Stall
I forgot to take measurements before all this got going. I could kick myself because I know it is more dramatic than what shows on my scale! Don't get me wrong, 31lbs in 5 weeks is amazing but my clothes are falling off! lol
