The Holidays are coming...
Check out Skinnytaste.com for great low-cal recipes. Her specialty is making healthier versions of favorite foods. She includes all the nutritional info at the bottom of the recipes. Between that and your limited portion size, I think you'll be great. Good luck!

Revision?
A revision from sleeve to rny for severe reflux is considered medically necessary, hence all the tests to establish the necessity. It is not considered weight-loss surgery by my insurance.

Questions for the nervous.
For my insurance, the only weight that counted for approval was my first visit to the surgeon. I have Cigna. You should ask. Good luck!

Food Before and After Photos
I'd try with the regular first before I buy anything special. You may end up hating eggs, after all.

Most "omelette-y" type foods can also be made in muffin tins to make portioning easier. ? Sorry you're so stressed out. It will get better and there are a lot of options once you get to the "mashed" stage.

Texture eater :(
It went well for me, but the trick is to thin it with broth or milk or whatever until it is at a thickness you can tolerate. Then gradually work your way up. But I could do soft mashed potatoes from the first day of purees.

Texture eater :(
Blended it. It was nice to have a thicker consistency than full liquids.

I think it's really hard to get in "discipline" mode with a vacay on the horizon. I just feel like "why bother". I tend to be short-sighted that way - sigh ?

Texture eater :(
First off, my team said that many people couldn't tolerate the pureed stage and preferred to stay on whole liquids, which is perfectly all right. Purees I liked: applesauce, mashed potatoes, cream of asparagus or broccoli soup, cauliflower/cheese soup, baked potato soup. A lot of people like refried beans. I didn't puree meats, really disliked the texture. However, very soft fish (I poached tilapia) smashed was fine for me. Hope that helps.

How to Start Meal Prepping After Bariatric Surgery
Can you please provide a link to the brand of containers you like (or just tell us the manufacturer)? Most of mine are starting to get pock-marks from the microwave and that scares me. I don't want to eat melted plastic. Plus, if I've saved anything tomato based, they get all orange and gross looking. Thanks!

Checking in after August by-pass
That really depends. Some of us had no problem drinking enough protein shakes to hit the protein goal. It all depends on how much swelling you had, but it is certainly not impossible.

Sweet tooth
SF Fudgesicles - love 'em! I think you'll have an advantage with a sweet tooth. So many of the protein drinks are sooooo sweet. You can also add vanilla or caramel protein drinks to tea or coffee for a lovely, sweet latte. Those of us who don't have so much of a sweet tooth tend to gag on the very sweet supplements. Good luck!

So, honestly, they weren't ALL bad choices! Plus, these look delish! I'm not posting any more pics of my high crimes and misdemeanors in Tampa. The wine & grapes pic provided the basics. ? It only went downhill from there.

My First Post- A lot of reading to do :)
Welcome to the forums, Jazzy! You can get a lot of great support and information here. It's a very friendly community. Enjoy your food funeral, but don't worry, it's not forever. I'm 7 months out and on vacation and eating what I want this week. I've had a small bit of pizza, fried shrimp, ice cream, wine, etc. I fly home today and I'll get back on the wagon, but I was able to enjoy goodies on the trip, albeit in much smaller quantities than before.

Full liquids question.
For most diets, your soup would be puree phase, not full liquids
