  1. Good, isn't it, your kidneys were so efficient they got rid of the surgical waterload. We ought to thank them more for the behind the scenes work they do! And I am cheering for both of YOU!
  2. So @ ChuckWalsh, how much did you lose? And before long, I predict, you'll be on the regular scales with the rest,of us! Gonna Happen if you keep on keeping on! Proud of YOU for undertaking this journey!
  3. Hey @ Missouri-Lees summit, just saw on Google someone is saying a high calorie low protein diet promotes healthy brain aging. Maybe I am bound to be thin and witless, everybody be kind as I sit there drooling. You'll find me over there in the fits one size chair, won't need the WIDE SEAT anymore!
  4. I have lost most of my rump cushioning, now I can't abide wooden chairs only for minimal time. Feels like my tailbone is going to burst through or crumble. Wish We Could Choose Where We Want To Lose!
  5. Hope I reach mine before I get old(well older!) And die. What's the use of being thin, scrawny and no longer the shape of a sausage if the only people pleased are your pallbearers because You are easier to carry. Dang it you're an corpse, and there is no fun or future in THAT!
  6. I have to soften my Carafate white Horsepills in boiling water, well even warm water will work. And the resulting slurry tastes like white flour in water. Guess they work but a funny way to do things!?
  7. May you only be full of ?,know I am, will take a dose of MoM as soon as my tummy settles down from the last puke-a-sode, tried eating 2 teaspoons of softcooked apple, Precious Pouch was not amused and let me know it!
  8. Do those gastric nerves regenerate after a band removal or does it go Really Slow?
  9. And my next EGJ is scheduled for Wednesday November 28th at 8AM, same BatChannel, same Bat-endoscopist, the procedure people are starting to call me by name not my patient #. Why not, I have been there Every Two Weeks since Early October!
  10. I don't mean to be mean or something, but I forgot Sleevers could get structured also, guess I thought only Bypassers got this.
  11. My endoscopic surgeon wants me at 90 grams protein daily, short of 1-2 Shakes for the supplementation- I Do Not Think I will Make it There!
  12. Sounds more like lower bowel pain than our evil ulcer friends. You could have thrush bacteria irritating your colon, have you been going #2 frequently enough? Smell in nose could be the fact you are now starting to burn off those fat reserves. I have had such a bad taste I swore somebody was going to smell it and make nasty remarks. Your thrush meds could have also killed off your good bowel bacteria, maybe start probiotics? Just a few of my thoughts. And I don't regret my surgeries, endoscopy and all, I regret the way my body is acting.???
  13. Take it, sit it back on his seat, put it in the Trunk, deaden the sound of its siren song!??????
  14. You are ever so correct!
  15. Or garbage collector, but if you're into sheds, barns and garages that's fine also.
  16. Does size matter? Well not as much as guys would like to believe. Wise woman- hood mentor told when I was a youthful Frustr8, told me. you tell a guy, who is fearful his endowments are insufficent Ooh Baby, it's fine, I'm sure you know to work what you have to the MAX! Confidence makes up a lot. Now bougie diameters, no worries-- arguement we had a time ago, How long is your Bypass ? The right answer: long enough to do the job, short enough you don't get life- risking malabsorption. Trust your surgeon, he or she will calibrate your sleeve or pouch to the perfect for you measurement. They are extremely skilled at what. they do, elsewise you would hired a garage collector instead. NEVER SWEAT. THE SMALL STUFF! AND YOU WILL FIND OUT AS YOU LIVE LONG, LIFE IS PLUMB FULL OF SMALL STUFF! Now someone help Frustr8 down off the soapbox before I fall and do ME harm!
  17. And you Sleevers still have a stomach left about the diameter of a garden hose, but it works, and isn't that what you wanted anyway?
  18. 5, Darlin' I have 5 evil Stripe the Gremlin-type along with Hector, my original Gizmo, quiet and not making more trouble in the other, not -so -connected portion. See I went in with gastritis and Hector at the beginning of this farce. I should have been on Carafate from the beginning, not had to wait until a month had elapsed, We Are playing Catch-Up now. I'm not going Friday, can't be seen until a week from tomorrow at 8 AM, apparently Dr Noria is taking herself a little Holiday for Thanksgiving, ours not hers, she graduated University in Toronto, so she belongs still to Royal College of Surgeons as well as the American ones. And I don't know if I emotionally can keep going biweekly into 2019. How much longer until they threaten or do open surgeries? Maybe I NEVER WILL BE truly well again, what a ROTTEN finale to my story that will be!????
  19. My facility tells you to open Prilosec(omeprazole) pour them on your foods, especially applesauce, hate that. Its like swallowing finely ground kitty litter! Used to like applesauce until this messing around Too, Thanks Folks!
  20. usually in low 30s, common sizes 32-34, but you can ask anyway. Worse that could happen? You get chuckled at for asking, but I thi,k I would want to know.
  21. And I have had 2 knee replacements, a surgical repair of a right humeral Fx, a plate and 12 screws there, asthmatic, arthritis since 25, widowed 6 and half years. Bypassed September 5th after fighting over 3 years to receive it, now Stricture of my stomal opening, 5 post-surgical ulcers, still on my liquid diet. My surgeons partner will try for the 4th time to dialate me back out on November 28th, 8 am, rough to find transport THAT EARLY to Columbus, I am a non' driver. Oh shazbut, got a phone call coming in , back to finish a little later!
  22. And Hi from a almost 73 (December 26th) bypasser in Central Ohio. Doggone right We Are Not Too Old, Honey we are Prime and Fine! Finally someone Older to look up to And Admire! Welcom Welcome Welcome!
  23. Sounds Good Alex! Ever time I think I'm up to date with what Bariatric Pal Store offers you add SOMETHING NEW. After my first order I thought you were the Best Value around, and doggone if you. don't maintain that Sterling Reputation! December I will be ordering more. Still Strictured, still on liquids, the retail around my town gets more and more limited. Wal-Mart, my local supplier, cut back to only vanilla and Chocolate protein shakes. Why? IDK, but your delivery is quick enough left to THEM, I'll order from YOU!
  24. I posted you guys a nice post, it flew off somewhere into the ether, oh well NBT, NBD. @Gym and Tonic, I share your birthday, a big difference, I will be 73, RedHeaded, still kicking, still a FORCE to Contend with, and an 11 week old bypasser. My surgery date was September 5, 2018, a few blips and a roadblock or 2, but Honey I will still make it to that finish line with all you Kids. Drop me a post anytime you want to talk, I discuss most everything but I listen too!
