  5. Try my go-to, I use it when all else fails. Wal-Mart Vegan Protein broth, my Nutritionist Roy, yeah a male dietician/nut groans, he would like something with a little higher protein count but for me, it warms up and slides in nicely.
  6. And I see my surgeon on your surgery day, may we all see and hear good results!
  7. I don't have the ❤?but I do have the feeling of food sitting there in bottom of esophagus and/ or Precious Pouch, 4 months post, stricture and ulcerations confirmed, on TPN because of insufficent protein levels for healing. Dr Noria keeps stating on my EGJs my esophagus looks notmal, I am supposed to be taking either a protein shake, or soup once a day at least, rather a token meal, nothing appeals, not much tastes good, satisfies or doesn't hurt, But dog-gone it, I am commited to heal, to feel better, and finally be all well. I am red-headed, strong-willed, and won't Give Up!???
  8. And YOU WILL and we all will be celebrating along WITH YOU!
  9. You believed in Santa Claus? for 7 or 8 years, don't you think you could still have faith in YOU?
  10. And in my search for me I found something to share Mirror Mirror on the Wall* I'll always get up when I Fall* And whether I run, walk or Crawl* I've set my goals and I'll acheive them all! And may YOUR 2019 be a success for YOU!
  11. Pride in Me***** I am very proud of the Strong Woman I am Today***** For I know what sorrows and trials I went through to stand so strong on my own 2 feet.???
  12. And my skin is as dry as yours is oily, climb in a big ?bag with me, maybe if God Shakes us up nicely we will even out and be close to normal again!??????❤
  13. Let's see, is 2019starting off good? Appointments, PCP, twice weekly blood draws, 6 month Sleep Lab follow-up, cardiologist, 4 month with bariatric surgeon, meet with lawyer, and endoscopy. Yep that's just January so far, but I am thinner than I once was, in a safer house with insulation and appliances, New phone# so no spammers or viagara salesmen,, no politicians, no death insurance or lame student loan deferments . At 73, sure not MY problem, maybe theirs. No flakey fakey TV evangelists calling my mama-in - law who's been dead 16 years. Just facing the future with what dignity I can summon on a moment's notice.
  14. In and Out, for you, Good without a doubt! Happy 2019 Jultrim18!❤!
  15. I want to look beautiful also, I guess a smile instead of a grimace would be a good start, right? Ok Frustr8, nothing to it but to do it, here it goes! ???
  16. We have a Bari- pal that states they work wonderfully well for him, but I would not feel for myself they are trustworthy. At best YMYC, but I'm old enough to use the excuses. "We never did it that way before" and" If it sounds too good to be true, You're probably right"???
  17. My surgeon/ endoscopic person wanted me at 90-120 for ulcer healing, 1/2 9f my goal weight would be approximate a. little less than 90, wasn't getting it P.O. so I am on TPN, working it all out. And how long this all goes, in the hands of the bariatric Gods, the Saints in Heaven, my doctors, my body's reactions. This is. a story? still being written?, a lot of plot twists and I have no clue how it all resolves.?
  18. OMG how wonderful that all is, just like a dream come true, the meds decrease, you're feeling GOOD. Zebby I am so pleased for you!
  19. To heal my ulcers, have Dr Noria stretch my stenosis out so I can move on to the Happy Healthy Bypass Babe I was meant to be. And to not complain if it takes another month or so TPN to heal me. When I heal I want it for Keeps. And then I will show everyone Former Frustr8, Fantastic Now Frustr8 and then someday Future Frustr8, I plan to be FABULOUS and FINE!
  20. Zebby, don't know who Debby is, but if she's on Bariatric Pal she might be as nice as You and Me! Happy Happy Honey!
  21. Debby you are now going to be a Zippidy Doo Dah, I believe there are GOOD THINGS ahead for you, and 2019 is going to be a Shining Sparkling Year!
  22. And I was open , carry the scar in a less common place because he took my appendix while I was out, not as quick healing but it was still quite bearable, if you would be,open, which seldom happens these days, not a world ender. Not as bad as you have been suffering now., I PROMISE!
  23. A piece of my gall bladder story. When I was carrying Tomkitten, 30 some years ago I told my ob-gyn I thought my gall bladder was acting up, and I got poo-pooed, ever notice Doctors just ❤giving me the poo-poo treatment? The claim then was it was just my baby kicking, nauseous- oh that's because there is no room left in your tummy. After he was born I still had symptoms now and then, well I was attention-seeking, yadda yadda. When Tomkitten was just a year maybe 18 months my mama had symptoms enough that they removed her gall bladder. And I said to her I wonder if I am having symptoms also. She rose up on her haunches and accussed me of horning,in on her parade, I was envious. No I tried to tell her I hardly can eat fried foods, pork, spicy food. At that time we had the same doctor, she thwarted me by telling him that I was jealous and to pay me no never mind. Well I changed doctors, New doctor did pay attention, said the traditional rhyme was Fair-skinned, Fat , Fertile and Forty. I did all of them except the age. I was sent for a scan and surprise I also had gall stones. My surgery was set up for Monday morning, this was a Thursday, when I showed up for surgery I was jaundiced, one of my stones was blocking the duct from it and my liver. My mother had 6 stones, I turned out to have 14, bigger and more jagged than hers. In fact if I had waited a little longer it would have ruptured. Now this was 35 or so years ago, usually people don't have to wait as long to have doctors take them serious. And if I continued with Mama's doctor , I probably would not got surgery until things exploded. And I felt a lot better when it was done, think I had been brewing them since Tomkitten was born, I was right it wasn't just pregnancy before, I had been a little sick with them for a long time, cause I was so much better after.
  24. And A Happy New Year to you also.
  25. Okay that's fine, was just thinking out loud, don't want anything bad happening.
