    Another day of vacationing

More vacationing I realized in seeing this pic that my tshirt is too big ?
  3. From what I know of the food mfg industry, and how Aldi works, I doubt there is much if any coordination on item manufacturing between the US and Germany.
  4. I do think the Aldi brand protein pastas are private label of the Explore brand. I haven’t tried them side by side, but my taste memory is that they are the same (only the Aldi brand is much, much cheaper)
  5. Prepandemic I did a lot of business entertaining including many steakhouses. Agree with all this, along with the shrimp cocktail suggestion. I’d also suggest coming up with a reason why you are eating less, even if it just you’re watching what you eat and reducing your portions. IME how little I was eating was routinely noticed and was questioned if I liked my meal etc.
  6. The Aldi edamame, black soybean & soybean pastas are all pretty good. And that’s coming from someone who’s fairly intolerant of most healthy substitute type products.

    More vacay outfits

Of course your stripes are black and white I'm on the Central Cali coast this week.
  9. I have a friend who had VSG converted to RNY. She has had some of the same symptoms you described. She continues to work with various Dr.'s to figure out what the issue is. So my advice is to keep pressing for answers and a possible solution, you don't need to accept this is the way it is.

    On a low key vacay
  11. I have never seen that, it looks delicious! I've had a spaetzel maker in my Amazon cart for ages, but hesitated adding another gadget to my kitchen. So I tried the colander method at first. But my batter/dough was too stiff. So I ended up breaking off the dough/batter by hand. It was so tedious ? But at least it tasted good!
  12. Nope, just Spaetzel > Pork Chop! I love me some carbs ? To prove I haven't gone vegan Pork Belly Tacos w Jicama Wrap and Quinoa (I think?) Salad
  13. As I wrote earlier in this thread: I lost nearly all the volume in my breasts. They were flat and deflated, but not necessarily droopy. I chose to get implants, and I'm very very pleased with them ?
  14. Had no children, still wanted a breast augmentation
  15. Spaetzel with Cider Cream Sauce, Green Beans with Whole Grain Mustard & Braised Red Cabbage This meal was supposed to include a pork chop, but I wasn't feeling it.

  17. I also never hated myself pre WLS. I lived a fulfilling, generally happy life. I didn't have any health issues pre WLS, I had surgery mainly for vanity sake. Even though I wasn't dissatisfied with my life, I am so much happier now. The best way to describe it is, my outsides now match my insides.
  18. There are many on here who have reached and maintain a healthy BMI. But if you get to an overweight BMI, wouldn't that still be a big improvement over where you are now? Don't look for ways to sabotage yourself before you even have WLS
  19. I worked the morning before my VSG. But I was pretty out of it afterwards. I think I sent a few emails on my phone post surgery, but it was probably risky ?. I was fully functional the next day and worked on my phone until I was discharged and from home afterwards. I had no gas pain, and could have flown that evening if necessary, but it would have been exhausting. I know I was also very fortunate how easy my surgery and recovery was. Since you're able to work remotely, can you stay a few days longer?
  20. We need a LOVE button ?

Mosquitos are the exact reason for the long sleeves, jeans and closed toe shoes! Couple night prior had drinks on a neighbors porch and got sooooo bit up

Got out last night to enjoy some of the outside dining that has been set up all over the city
  23. Another example of feigned innocence. That post wasn't a sincere question about Medicare, just as this post wasn't a genuine question about weight gain. You seem to have a need to put others down for a myriad of reasons including gaining weight (on a WLS forum of all places) or for being in the unfortunate position of needing to rely on government benefits (did you return your stimulus check?). And then there is the subtle and not so subtle racism you display, by referring to weaves and protesting. Do I need to bring up when you posted COVID is being overblown to make Trump look bad?
  24. You expect anyone to believe that this is racist: But this post of yours is not?
  25. What I do know is what you have posted, which is blatantly racist Are your welfare check won't cover your weave and nail....
