  1. More chicken tenders! I absolutely need to finish everything in my house before I buy anything new. Anyone else realizing they have way more food than they thought even though there’s “nothing to eat” ?
  2. If no one is responding to your messages they may not be active often. But definitely keep trying to connect with people. You can find fantastic and lasting friendships ❤️
  3. Chicken tenders with avocado, cucumber & tomato “salad” I focused on the protein so there’s plenty of “salad” that I will finish later.
  4. Yes! My incredibly lazy attempt. Next time I’ll do it right ?
  5. I have no clue where you live but are you saying there is are no alcoholism ?
  6. Despite cultural differences, for some people alcohol not being a part of their post op lifestyle is a good thing. Unfortunately there are not many indicators in who will have an issue so I understand the reason for the prohibition. But of course it will always be ultimately up to the individual. I promise I am not trying to be the party pooper.
  7. Idk, I only focus on myself tbh but I’d hate to be the person not properly warned that a brand new alcohol addiction is possible.
  8. It’s all just a suggestion in the end. But for context, I literally saw a Bariatric alcoholic tackle 3 nurses trying to get away from the ER to drive home. That’s when I thought yeah maybe there’s a reason for that suggestion.
  9. May I present… a potato ? Air fried, seasoned with EBTB and basil olive oil.
  10. In my programs it was recommended to wait for 6 months for bread and raw vegetables. But I think it was a year to never again for alcohol ?
  11. I can try to answer this since I have both. No. Not for me. It’s has been a completely different type of Satiation. VSG was an immediate forced hard stop because of pressure/tightening/pain where you might still feel hungry or wish you could eat more but physically cannot. With RNY there is the feeling of disinterest or boredom with eating. I *could* eat more but I don’t want more. And I feel full lower in the abdomen vs higher in the chest (VSG). If you are chasing restriction, you may be disappointed. But this is only my experience. Ask around to those that had both procedures to gather more opinions. I hope that helps.
  12. Couscous, vegetables and chicken tenders … courtesy of an air fryer and tea kettle (blanched the vegetables, steamed the couscous) because that’s how little cooking I want to do these days. The chicken tenders are the Just Bare brand which are pretty good (but slightly too salty for me). I ate less than half but will finish the rest later.
