Thank you all for your support. I believe this is the most weight I have ever lost at one time. I have never been able to do it. I would go down 20, go up 40, go down 20, go up 50, go down 10, go up 100. I am so glad to be here and so happy with my progress. I wish you all the luck, and i am so glad you guys are here with me. tara

Satisfied, while DH isn't.
Way to go for confronting the issue before it overpowered both of you! I hope things are better now.

I am staying on plan today because a month ago yesterday I was 329 and when I woke up this morning the scale said 297, and I wanted to cry from happiness.

I just really wanted to share
I posted this in some other place, but I really wanted to post it here, at the home of my victorious valentines.... A month ago yesterday I was 329. Today I got on the scale and for the first time in three years it said something beside 3 _ _. My scale read 297.6- I hadn't weighed myself in a while bc its a good way to depress me and if I get depressed I eat, so almost two weeks ago when I looked at the scale it had gone up from 306 to 308. So I excercised some, but mostly I have been concentrating on stopping when I am full. Thats really hard for me. I go for my first fill April 17th...but if this continues I think I might just say "no thanks"

Did you tell your Doc?
I didn't tell mine, but I didn't really have a need too. Mostly it just didn't come up, but If it did I would tell. I don't believe in don't ask, don't tell, its just not the first thing I tell people. I also don't like people who the first thing they talk to me about is their husband or wife. Thats just me I guess.

This will make you chuckle!
Oh yess yesss yes! I love the gym and people usually don't bother me, the people who "look" like they work out all the time don't look twice at me. but their are times that I am getting DOWN on this bicycle, or the elipticall (trying), or the treadmill and I will look up and a little old lady is looking at my with this "how cute" expression and mouths "good job" like the fat girl who is working out needs special encouragement. I usually just smile and get over it but its annoying. Funny story. My friend and I both go to the gym and she is about 260 (used to be 310, lost it all no band) so she is listening to her music, going as hard as she can on the treadmill. When she opens her eyes their is this woman in front of the treadmill with an open mouth. Vanessa takes out her earphones and stops the machine and the woman screams, loudly, "You inspire me, if you can do it I know I can do it." It took forever for me to convince her to go back to the gym.

Funny Fat Stories
I have a recent one too actually. Speaking of little chairs. I went to see the Producers at the strand theatre where I live. I had been there before with no problem, but THIS waited to late and had to get the cheap seats...in the back....that apparently were made before man invented food. I went to sit down like I always do and the arm rest stopped me in the middle. I tried to look nonchalant as I slide slowly down the seat wiggling my butt. I finally get in there and I am just UNCOMFORTABLE but I am trying to deal. Well these three very old, very gripy ladies sat down in front of me. They felt the play was too loud, they felt the people were laughing to loud, the lines were too long for the bathroom, etc. etc. So there I sat stuffed in my seat like a turkey, the arm rest on the side straining against me...I was at a really awkward angle and being it was a theatre the floor went at an angle up, making her head level with my belly when I stood, and my crammed knees when I sat, so everytime I moved I hit that gripy lady in the head, she would turn around, blue hair swinging and give me an awful look. All in all, the show was good, I was miserable. That old lady hated me. I finally just started laughing louder ( "My ears hurt with all that cackling" she says when I was getting out to leave. I of course hit her in the head with my belly at that exact moment, accident I swear). Oh, I will never get the cheap seats again.

Funny Fat Stories
Lets see...I was going to a ball game and being really short the turn entrances, you know the thing with three prongs that are supposed to catch people at the thigh and spin to count the people going in? Well they catch me on my tummy, I went through it and it came with me but I just ignored it and kept on walking thinking it would unstick, but no it kept going with me. I didn't know what to do, so I put my hands on the top of it and wiggled my butt out from the top looked back at the people staring at me smiled and walked away, leaving it out of line behind me. Your story was great, becca!
