  1. Thats awesome. Someone should come tug on MY butt!
  2. I keep replying to this thread and it keeps not freaking showing up. I am doing healthy thursday, I can't stomach a healthy friday. For Breakfast I had a plum and a peice of provolone.
  3. Coooooongrats!!!! That is so fantatic and it is acutally 100 lbs down right? You are doing so super sweet. Yaaaay
  4. Official Weigh Day! 3lbs down from official Weigh day last week.
  5. I'm hovering in five lbs again...but it's a different 5lbs from two weeks ago so that's cool.
  6. You guys are doing so well
  7. I've just had the one slip up with the icecream. I've been craving salty, which is easier for me to deal with since I can just put molly mcbutter on anything and make it salty. It has a lot of sodium, but I really like it and it taste like salty butter but without the calories and fat. I did snack on corn chips and ranch dressing *cringe* but they have since dissapeared. The corn chips to my lab and the ranch in the trash. Ezma. A culinary scream. I feel that.
  8. No worries tapshoes, I blew my diet out of the water this weekend...but the weekdays are so much easier to stay in routine. We'll make it up.
  9. Somehow I am still down a lb since yesterday...I don't know how. I added it up and even with all the junk I didn't go over 2000 calories yesterday.
  10. No, it wasn't me. I don't think there is anything wrong with your decision, whether I agree with you or not it is obviously a very important issue for you.
  11. Confessions....:crying: and regrets This weekend I've had icecream, funnel cake, chinese food. It has not been a great diet weekend at all.... Ah.
  12. I really want a wii fit. You could get the yoga DVD just to change things up sometimes. Variety is the spice of life:laugh:
  13. That's kinda how I feel too. I'm know he regrets their deaths, but I feel he was careless with their lives.
  14. I choose my canidate for many issues. Abortion issues, Gay rights issues, Economy, Energy, and how intelligent I think they are, Enviromental. No canidate is perfect for me, so I just have to pick the one that is farthest from awful for me.
  15. I good points. Depression does come in stages, however. Someone who is truely depressed might really feel, believe and want to die, but their bodies are healthy. And they might be put on medication and could improve. They would have days they were not hurting. They could get better. They won't live forever, but they might live for years to come. I wouldn't think suicide is ever the answer, but I would think it to be horrible really not wanting to live with the pain, knowing you are going to die and there is no chance of recovery, and not being able to do anything for yourself, even choose when to end it yourself because you don't have the ability...I just couldn't imagine.
  16. That's the problem, logic. That is what can be argued until people are blue in the face. I am not a scientist so I don't and can't argue about when life begins. My partner is a scientist, however, and she does not believe life begins at conception and says that any scientist would agree. I don't have a specified time in my mind that life begins, and noone can prove when it does begin. So I can see why at conception might be an obvious choice for you, totally, but I just don't feel that way. It's such a sad thing either way, and I commend you for standing up for your beliefs, because not wanting any child to be killed is very understandable, and I agree with you.
  17. I see what you are saying, but I have to disagree. In your last paragraph everything you mentioned (castration, spousal abuse) is not a choice for thier own bodies, it is a choice for someone else's body. If someone wants to castrate themselves, then I say go for it, if someone wants to castrate someone other than themselves and doees so forcefully, well that is taking the choice away from them. So I would be prochoice again. What someone decides to do with thier own bodies , not someone else's would be the issue. That's my thing. I respect pro-lifers, if by pro life they mean they would never have an abortion. But then pro choice is prochoice not pro-abortion- I believe in choice, just life I wouldn't call anyone who is against abortion in anyform a pro-taking my choices away and telling me what to do with my body..er. I am not proabortion. I am not progun. I am prochoice. The distinction is that I haven't had an abortion, and that I am sad that sometimes it comes to that. I would not legally force anyone to carry a child inside themselves for nine months. I understand why you feel the way you do, but the difference between us, and something that will always be different, is when we think life begins. I do not believe life begins at conception...I'm guessing you do. I respect that but don't feel the same way.
  18. You go Girl. They deserve a lot more, dear. Good luck in your lapband journey. You can do this.
  19. A small portion of icecream won't undo all your hard work, just be careful with the cake, it is awfully bready, so eat it slow to make sure it goes down right. But at the same time, if you feel you can't say no to them, it might be hard to stop eating once you start. That is how I am. I can't have icecream anywhere around me because I can't stop till it's all gone.
  20. Hi, Nice to have you. Good luck on your surgery Monday
  21. Don't worry it will come. I just came off a TWO month plateau, but I went down a pants size and Lost NOTHING. Then today after two months, the scale is down 6 lbs in two days. Plus with all your working out your gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat. Our bodies play tricks on us, especially with the help of the scale. You are doing fantastic.
  22. Ezma, could you imagine carrying around a Horse with you? Isn't that amazing. I was thinking about lugging around a kid on one hip and a tire on the other and how TIRED I would be. No wonder it was so hard to walk up stairs, you know. Or walk to my car... Wow. Way to go, by the way.

I've been working on getting one. The wii is so hard to come by right now. I walk, swim, and do my yoga video, right now. I cancelled my gym membership, but have been doing more at home, and this could be a fun way to go. I WANT.
  24. Yeah it is, isn't she awesome?
