I'd say it's probably because of all the liquids..possibly also any meds you are on. Just keep hydrated. Good luck.

Hi Kristy and welcome to LBT. To be at the weight healthy for me I needed to lose 249 pounds. It will be slow but it's possible. My surgery should be toward the end of the year!!! I hope I continue to lose weight on my diet. Good luck!

My insurance requires 6 months of classes/diet for it to pay for the surgery. Not everyone has to do them for that long.

Yay! Had my Psych evaluation today at 9:30. Lasted until 11:30 and the doc said I am a perfect canidate for surgery!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: ALSOOOOOO...had my 2nd nutrional class at 2. I lost 5 and a half more pounds!! 5 months left in my 6 month diet...weee :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::hurray::thumbup::hurray:LOL :thumbup: sorry im exciteddddddddddd W00T 8.5 pounds total!!!! weeee!!!:thumbup:!!

I was 2 years ago ran out of money and havent had a chance to go back and i was waiting to look for a job after the surgery and I wont be covered on her insurance if i find a job before it

I'm being kicked off my insurance because it's my mothers (I'm currently unemployed) and I'm turning 23 August 7th since I am turning 23 the age where insurance no longer covers (which we didnt know until yesterday) On December 31st I will be taken off. Before we were told as long as my mother could have me on her taxes and I lived with her there would be no problem but there is. So today I called the insurance and talked to the lady I always talked to, she said if we had the doctor's office fax all my past history that I had and weight loss to them that they could possibly shorten my 6 month diet to where it wasn't so close and down to the wire in December. Well they faxed the information and She called back said within a week I should know if it can be shortened. I sure hope it can I don't want to get this far and have to end this whole journey. Wish me luck. I sure hope something works out.:thumbup:

So...today I found out I get kicked off my insurance on December 31st, 2008. What if something goes wrong or something and my 6 month diet goes a little past 6 months or my pre-op testing does or I can't quite get the surgery in before December. We were told before by the insurance as long as I am living with my mom and she can file for me on taxes then I could be on her insurance. And now they tell me this. WTF. I just have this odd feeling not everything is going to get done before then. I should be having surgery maybe in Oct possibly Nov. But if something extends out and takes a little longer I am afraid I am going to be screwed and went through all of this for nothing. I would be heartbroken.

If you don't have willpower with this surgery then it is kind of pointless don't you think? You can't just eat and eat and stretch out your pouch or risk it slipping etc. Like everyone has said before this isn't a cure all. Part of the job is the band, the rest is your emotions, and will to not eat when you're hungry, specially not bad foods.

Well my normal periods are usually 2 weeks long, but this one is getting so ridiculus, It's so annoying lol. Still going!

I'm 22, 23 in August. I am on month 1 of my 6 month diet. Hoping to have surgery in Oct/Nov.

My surgeon won't do surgery unless you have quit smoking. I'm not a smoker so this wasn't a problem for me but for a lot of people at the seminar it was. Smoking is ew anyway.

In another show, Ugly Betty. they say that she is fat. America is not fat at all she is freaking beautiful. I'd kill to be the size of her in that show!

So, my psych evaluation is Friday May 16th at 9:30 AM until around 1pm. Can anyone tell me what to expect or give me an idea of what all happens (especially if you have had a psych evaluation that lasted this long. Responses will be greatly appreciated.:thumbup:
