  12. Yes, it seems the worst of this whole journey is fighting with or trying to find out stuff from the insurance. Lol.
  13. When I do have surgery mine will be 1-2 weeks clear liquids going into more solid colored liquids...3-4 weeks pureed foods 5-6 weeks going into soft solids then finally regular food.
  14. A really important question is how many lapband surgeries has the surgeon performed. Another one of mine was how their fill appts went with insurance etc.
  15. my 3rd visit for my 6 month diet is june 4th i have 12 visits total. It's actually going quicker than I thought it would. So many people seem to go right through though lol. Welcome and congrats to all the people being banded soon!!!
  16. My surgery will be around Oct/Nov ...I'm still working on my 6 month diet lol. Don't worry the wait is worth it you should know! Waiting a few months is so worth getting your life back. Good luck!
  17. Hello!!! Welcome to LBT!! I understand you wanting to live completely. I'm 22 and I have never really lived...have a BMI of 60. I hope you can start your journey soon! Hope to hear from you again when you find out more information or have questions/thoughts.
  18. Congratulations on starting a wonderful journey to a healthy new you!!! Welcome to LBT. I would say going to that seminar was the best thing I ever did. Got the ball rolling, and it's taking time...but I am already becoming healthier even before I have the surgery toward the end of the year. I hope your journey is smooth and that it's stress-free. And again welcome. Hope to hear from you again!
  19. Being that your BMI is only around 32 you might have problems finding insurance to pay for it or a doctor to do the procedure. Do you have any health problems due to your weight?
  20. That's amazing!!! Congrats on the shrinking :woot:
  21. Everytime I hear that joke I start to giggle!:woot:
  22. I can't see my toes. I can but not very well! :woot:

  24. I had to wait 2 months before my seminar...and I still have to do a 6 month diet for my insurance. The wait is worth it. The more you learn before your surgery the better you will do. I would wait it out. Good luck!
  25. I'm sure it will. I guess there is also a positive to this...you'll probably lose a bunch of weight! I know that's horrible but it's true, but I am sure you will feel better soon. Good luck.
