Thank God!!! someone's going through exactly what I am going through! And paid the same!!! I am a food addict just telling me not to eat when I can doesn't work!!! I'm glad I'm not alone. One more person tells me about the joy of "mushies" or Ice pops I'll kill em. I got the band because of the extreme stress in my life. (yes I see as counslor and takes med but that just keeps me from screaming at people) and yes, I know the band is a tool but right now I feel like a tool for paying all that money and being starving and able to eat a ton of food. I was tild it could take me 4 fills to get it right well lets do it every 2 days instead of every two weeks. Anyone else feeling like me???

Hi Everyone, I need some more help. I'm just at 2 weeks after surgery and I can't stop eating. I started on soft foods and it just spiraled out of control. I just had a bowl of popcorn an hour ago. I know I'm not supposed to eat but I'm hungry and I have no problem with eating and digesting. The nurse told me to just wait until I got my first fill but I don't have willpower. That's why I got this surgery! I know I won't be able to eat after my fill but until then I can't seem to stop. I'm dreaming of food. And worse yet I put 10 lbs back on just this weekend! Help!!!!

Thank You everybody! Reading your answers really did make me feel better. I made some homemade cream of broccoli soup and I feel much more human! I'm just glad to know I'm not the only who was hungry!

I need some answers! I got banded last Monday, April 28th and I am starving and have been since wednesday! I called the nurse and she litterally told me to "suck it up" and I phoned my doctor and he told me I will be hungry for 3 more weeks until my fill I just need to "deal with it". I am completely depressed b/c I have bad headaches from being so hungry and my stomach is twisted from having nothing but liquids. I can't focus, I feel like I paid 17K dollars to be tourtured. I have called 14 people from the support list they gave me and not one of them were hungry after their surgery. I am a day away from eating what ever I can find!!! Help somebody!
