  1. My surgeon said 18-24 months depending on the individual.
  2. Hello! I've had mine almost 8 months.
  3. I would definitely get a lift, maybe a reduction as well.
  4. I don't have PCOS, but I do get horrible cramps, where I'm doubled over in pain. My doctor has prescribed tylenol with codeine. I didn't think it would work, but it actually does alleviate the pain.
  5. I'm a full time student and audio production consultant
  6. I was told no more than 10 lbs for 2 weeks.
  7. I wasn't allowed to do any crunches until I was at least 6 weeks out of surgery. I'm 7 months out now, and am still a little nervous about doing actual situps, although I have gotten the ok to do so. Definitely check with your surgeon beforehand.

I just bought the wii today, and I have to now find the wii fit.
  10. I got "lapband for life" by dr. Ariel ortiz. It was geared toward lapband living before and after surgery. Great book.

Where did you get it from? Everywhere I've looked, they're out of stock.
  13. I'm not sure of what the monthly rate is, but the yearly rate is $99. I'm sure it's cheaper to pay for the year than to do month-to-month. If you put a little aside every month, then purchase the yearly plan, that might workout for you.
  14. I weigh in once a week on Sunday mornings, after I go to the lil girls room.
  15. I open my capsules and put the meds in applesauce. It doesn't taste as bad.
  16. It depends on your situation. If you are self pay, it can be done in a mtter of weeks. If you have to go through insurance, it could take up to 6 months or longer. Mine took 5 1/2 months in total through my insurance company, from my initial visit to the surgery date.
  17. I have days when I regret getting the band. Those are the days when I can't keep food down., but overall I'm content with the band.
  18. Congratulations and good luck on your journey.
  19. I have a proform elliptical, treadmill, and strength training machine. I also use the biggest loser dvds. I'm getting ready to start the bl boot camp again.
  20. I've never had a problem with liquids pushing the food through the pouch. If I dare drink while eating, everything will come back up, even if I take a tiny sip, I'll throw up. So I don't do it anymore.
  21. I named mine Joe. It was the first name that came to mind when I first got the band. There's no rhyme or reason to it.
  22. I'm 29 and orignally from the nyc area. I currently live in the philly area. I find it very hard to date in the philadelphia area as compared to the nyc area. I had no problems dating when I lived in ny.
  23. Congratulations and good luck on your journey.
  24. I'm in the same boat. My 16s are hanging off of me. But I think I'll wait until I'm a definite 12, before I buy some new clothes.
  25. My last supper was actually a lite turkey and reduced fat swiss sandwich. It sounds pretty plain, but that's what I was craving at the time.
