I have used the biggest loser workout 1 and 2 and they're pretty good.

These books are excellent reference materials and most people may not want to give that up. You may just have to go out and buy like everyone else who has already.

Lapband for Life by Dr. Ortiz was very helpful I read it all in less than a week. If you can't get it online, definitely try Barnes and Noble or Borders.

I'm so excited to finally be approved after months of going to the gym and being weighed weekly. It's all paying off now.

Call your provider's customer service to see if they cover the procedure, and they can direct you to a doctor from there. Although Medicaid is a federal program, it should be the same from state to state, the plan you have under Medicaid may or may not cover it.

I have a digital Health-O-Meter. It has settings for up to 2 people. You can input your age, and it will calculate your body fat percentage as well as your weight. I've had for little over 2 years now, and it's been very accurate.

I have Keystone Mercy, which is very similar to Keystone Health Plan East. I have to go through a 3 month supervised diet and exercise program. You should check with you surgeon's office, and they would be able to tell you what the process is for getting approval. Good luck with your journey.

I'm going through the same process right now. Only my insurance requires a 3 month program of diet and exercise. I have go to the nutritionist once a month and I was forced to join a gym through my surgeon's office, for $100 a month. I have to go at least 3x/week. Everything is documented through the nutrionist and fitness coordinator. I have the same concerns about not being able to get approval if I lose more weight. Just hang in there. It'll be over before you know it.
