  1. Congratulations on your weight loss!
  2. I googled this and found quite a few links. Here is one: S.C. case looks on child obesity as child abuse. But is it? - USATODAY.com
  3. Congratulations on your decision to get banded and good luck on your journey.
  4. Congratulations on your decision to get banded. Good luck on your journey.
  5. Depending on your income, you may be able to get temporary/emergency medicaid coverage.
  6. Congratulations on your NSV!
  7. My support group meets every other week. I make it a point to attend regularly. My group is comprised of bypass and band patients, both pre-op and post-op. I've been going for well over a year and find them somewhat useful. There was a time when I decided I didn't need the information or meetings because I felt they were redundant. But now I go without any hesistation. My surgeon's office has an excellent program overall and I love him and his staff. I think the meetings complement the information that I receive here at LBT.
  8. My mother saw me today and said my lips were chapped. At one of my visits to my surgeon's office they made mention of it as well at had me go to the er for an iv. I was told it was due to partial dehydration. I don't have any issues with my skin being dry, other than my lips. I live by chapstick.
  9. I believe that I'm at my sweet spot after a year of fills and unfills. I am definitely tighter in the mornings through early afternoon. Very minimal throwing up as well.

The Active is great for the wii. Have you tried a rowing machine or elliptical machine? You will get a good workout if you mix either in with the treadmill.
  13. I was told yesterday by the nutritionist, to use calcium carbonate. I don't like calcium chews or wafers. Maybe I'll try the liquid calciium.
  14. I have lost a little over 80 lbs and went from a double d to a d, I think they're a d now. Anyway, if they get any smaller, I will worry. I've always been confident about my body. I'm probably a little cocky now though, lol. I have about 35 lbs left to lose. As far as plastic surgery goes, the most I would get would be a breast lift. I love my breasts but I'm not interested in making them bigger even after I lose the rest of my weight.
  15. Congratulations on your weight loss.
  16. I had a good surgery experience. I did however get my TOM very badly 2 days after surgery. I know tmi, lol.
  17. You can try using a Biotin vitamin supplement. It will help with new hair growth but it won't stop your hair from falling out.
  18. It's normal to feel this way soon after surgery. This feeling will pass and you will feel better about your decision to have the band. Keep your head up.
  19. Mine is on the right. I can only feel it when I'm laying on my back.
  20. Hey Nick! Congratulations on your decision to get banded and good luck on your weight loss journey.
  21. Congratulations and good luck on your journey.
  22. Down 79 lbs. 1 yr Bandiversary this coming tuesday.
