  1. How far along post op are you? I like eating tuna a lot with mayo and Greek yogurt. Rotisserie chicken, cauliflower pizza, asparagus, and there are a lot more!!!
  2. Yes that's too long. Take some milk of magnesia to help you go tomorrow. My NUT told me 3 days and no BM then use MOM
  3. It's really hard to get used to it. Honestly I don't miss too many foods but I do miss some that we can't have and I am afraid to eat some others. I think you learn as you go too!
  4. I was so tired for days after surgery but luckily it levels out too. I am still crazy grumpy but am seeing that let up too at 7-8wks out
  5. I feel you! Same thing happened to me at this stage! Slow and steady wins the race! It will come off and the scale will move. Keep on track and it will move again soon!
  6. I am 179.8 today, my goal will be 167. Thank you
  7. I also was only around the 20lb mark at one month, not much further out either but it seems to be happening a little better this last couple weeks! Plus 22lbs is amazing in a month
  8. You laugh, but I actually did that with a pretty good friend I hadn't seen for a while. I said "Can't you tell I've lost like 50 pounds???" They were like "No, not really...I think you look great, though!" WTH?? Seriously, it took me losing SEVENTY POUNDS before people started to notice! Really strange..... Me too! 70lbs before people commented that weren't my loved ones! Crazy people!
  9. I too had PF! The best thing I did was first start losing weight but also I bought the sketchers with gel and memory foam sneakers! Amazing!!! Made all the difference!!! Still love them! What a difference too not having PF anymore! Good luck to you!
  10. How funny I had the 5:30 check in tooMe too!!!
  11. Diet soda is a no-no! I use light mayo and Greek plain yogurt together! Really great in the tuna! Lower fat and more protein
  12. I add mine to my Greek yogurt to get extra protein which equals about 15gms with 2oz yogurt and half scoop protein powder. Plus it is really good with some raspberries or bananas added
  13. I have Jarrow and it works well for me! I kind of like it, even though it doesn't have much taste
  14. I was down 20lbs my first month too, not as much as others for sure but not too shabby!
  15. I had my surgery in May26th and am going to weigh tomorrow as it will be 6 weeks then. But last week I was down 20lbs. A little slower than I expected but still 20lbs! Hope for a couple more this last week
  16. It will be here sooner than you realize
  17. i had my surgery on May26th! I will weigh tomorrow and hoping it's down a little more! SW 204.7 Last week(5th wk) I was 185. Hoping a couple more gone this last week
  18. I am going to weigh in the morning, I just hope it moved down a little this last week! I don't expect miracles but a pound or two would be great. I did have more calories today than normal so hopefully that doesn't mean it will go up too. I will be very sad if it goes up! Will let you know tomorrow what the scale says!
  19. That would definitely drive me even crazier than I am!
  20. Been a long time since I lived there, glad you described where it was. I lived in Clarenville.
  21. Aww! I was born in NL but moved to Alberta when a kid. Then back and forth between the two my whole life until an adult and now in Arizona!! Where in Alberta do you live and where in NL do you live? Just curious!
  22. I am so sorry you feel that way and it is very disappointing to only see little results. Time will make it better. The positive is def. that you can get pregnant and get the nutrition you will need. Keep your chin up and things I am sure will get better! ????
  23. What relief that I am not the only one experiencing this!!! Thanks for ALL your replies!!! I def. need to communicate to him more the importance of leaving my measured food alone.
