  1. I feel you! Had a couple things this week I am ashamed of having too! We must keep the course and learn to forgive our faults! I think just being aware of our mistakes are steps in the right direction
  2. I can't believe I hadn't seen this thread before! I am from Glendale. I had my surgery on May26th with Dr. Graf at Banner Estrella! Been feeling really good lately!!! I am down 31lbs from surgery and 40lbs from pre-op diet!!! Glad to see Everyone on a thread!! Anyone else used banner for surgery? Or even Dr. Graf?? Loved him!
  3. I would walk, elliptical, bike for about 30-35 minutes which is what my NUT said for me to do!
  4. My NUT and I discussed it each visit and she would recommend me cutting in half the things I eventually would have to give up, carbs, caffeine, sugar, soda!
  5. Why no nuts later down the road? My NUT wanted me to add avocado. Healthy fats
  6. Down to 173.4. Excited about this, another 2.2 lbs gone
  7. Mmmmm Salad!!! Sounds wonderful but I wonder if the lettuce is a waste of space? Any thoughts on this? Great alternative for wraps and sandwiches though!
  8. I made the cloud bread and it turned out well. I wouldn't want it too much cause I think it could lead to eating carbs again. I would make it again! Not too hard to make
  9. Very nice Elode! I do love that you are a travel nurse! I used to do that and I looooved it!!! Great job with your weight loss and please continue to post your not only inspirational but funny posts! Thank you!
  10. I like reading this thread!!! My goal weight was a discussion my NUT at my first post-op appointment. She asked what I wanted and I told her I felt great around 145 but would love to be closer to 140. She agreed and stated if I went lower great but if I found it easier to stay around 140 or even 145 then that would be a good goal to set! I have 35lbs to go. I started at 255.6 on my first Dr. appt but am now less than 175!
  11. I try not to step on the scale too much but each week the weight loss is different! Def. NOT a pound a day or half a pound a day. It is 1-2.5 lbs per week! Which is keeping me happy enough!! So chin up and weight down!!! Woohoo
  12. I am no where near maintenance but I really like this thread!!! Great questions
  13. I am 9 weeks out and yes I have the same issue!!! Trying to keep on track is hard when I am now hungrier! My NUT said it was ok to snack just do the protein first! If I crave sweets she said to have fruit with protein first!
  14. GNC, Vitamin Shop, Quest.com, AmazonThey are starting to carry them in grocery stores too! Which is great because you can compare quality to other lower prices bars.My favorite it the cookie dough and apple pie!!! Yummy! Haven't had in a few months because my NUT says not yet!
  15. I think it's so random! Don't take it personal! I read a lot of threads but don't always reply! Keep putting in your two cents and I am sure you will hear back
  16. I have to give my NUT a big kiddos! She is amazing and supportive. If I have questions I just email her and she gets back to me very fast! She is helpful and gives me alternatives to things I am craving!
  17. You nailed it! I too have days of super hunger and days I am not interested in eating! The days I am really hungry are frustrating because I end up having something I should not! Work in progress here!
  18. I would let your doc know, I am sure it was a just under the skin stitch but may need more attention if it's painful
  19. I love this thread!!! I have laughed a lot reading our woes with boobies!!! I am down almost 80lbs on this journey and have about 35 more to go! I am sure 10-15 of those came from my boobs! They are sad looking to say the least! I feel all the pain associated with small ones now but I don't know what size they are now! They a flat as a fluffy pancake! Omg! So sad!!! Lol oh well one can hope for perky boobs in a few years!
  20. I still feel new to this but I definitely have a few favorites: Greek whips yogurt Tuna Unflavored protein powder Torani syrup Pb2 and peanut butter Greek yogurt&mayo combo(my own) Cauliflower Cheese of some sort-cream/sliced/hard/string I feel like there is more but Always have these!
  21. I am only 9 weeks out of surgery but all this weight loss sounds amazing! I'd say 2lbs a week is pretty satisfying! Great work all! I look forward to being further out and seeing numbers like any of those!!????
