What’s Your Worst Post-Op Memory (or Fear)?
I would agree with most that the constipation is a real "pain". Never worked so hard in my life to have vowel movements. Luckily I don't normally have to intervene with mural ax. But when I do, it works. Might try the tea though, sounds like a good alternative! But yeah "ouch" on the going part sometimes!

4 Months = 100 Pounds Lost! God Is Good!
Omg. You are so lucky to be alive. 100lbs at three months is crazy a lot and probably unhealthy. You def. should see your PCP and see if they can help recommend someone. Go through a weight loss institute. That's what I've done and everything has been amazing

Peanut butter
Not right away. Ask your NUT first. It sits heavy for me but I steal a tsp here and there. It's high fat, sugar and not too high in protein so other things would be a better choice. In fact PB 2 is really good substitute and much less calories and fat!

Things I didn't expect my first month post-op
For the Torani syrups it depends on the size of my drink, usually 11oz of shake and I would say I like it sweeter than most so maybe 1tbsp. I don't have a pump, just pour! Had the chocolate today in my protein and it was awesome. It was already a chocolate shake but with the added syrup it was so nice and chocolates! Yumms!

Quest bars
I eat one every other day or so and have not found that a problem. I love them and have to restrict how often I eat them because I don't think they are the best source of protein for me

Does anyone else feel super emotional post op?
I was a crazed lady for some time. About 7 weeks post op for me. It gets better. I think a lot of it was I was tired but still trying to do everything I had done before! I am nasty when I'm tired!

Things I didn't expect my first month post-op
Does your tummy tell you when ur full? How do you know that's your full? Congrats on the weight loss!! I was sleeved 9/2!! Wednesday coming up, I start the puréed stage!! Not looking forward to blending anything though blending food is not as bad as it sounds! I didn't mind it after I started doing it

Things I didn't expect my first month post-op
Things I have learned: 1. The gurgling is very embarrassing and noisy! 2. I do get hungry sometimes. I am 3 months out. 3. The scale is an angry beast sometimes and a lover at other times. 4. My poops are weird and it's harder and more time consuming to "go" 5. The full feeling is very different from before my sleeve. 6. 93lbs gone and I can run a little with my cardio 7. I love the protein shakes 8. Torani syrup is a protein shakes best friend 9. I still have 20lbs or more to go but I see it happening more and more everyday 10. Some days I still feel like the 255lb girl 11. Compliments are plenty, and always nice to hear. 12. Carbs are not that important to me anymore So many more that I could write!

How about some NSVs!?!?
They had a bake sale at work today to raise money for a coworker who lost a loved one and I had to be the one to organize the goodies and go to 4 floors to get the donations and dole out the treats. Plus they were all in my office for the morning. The smell were great. I didn't even have a lick of one! True test of my determination during this process! Everyone was very impressed with my willpower as was I!

11 days post op and a COMPLETE BASKET CASE!
I have to say the food thing has not been easy but I think I do a good job at avoiding what I can't. I am over 3 months out of surgery and I can say I felt like a crazed PMS lady for 7 weeks! Sorry but hopefully yours does not last as long. I was insane and felt like I was going to lose my mind! My poor husband got the brunt of it! Now I am a super happy and much skinnier person. So hang in there and it will get better!

I'm just like him...

May Sleevers - We are 90 days out, lets catch up!
I just had my three month on friday. Was sleeved on May 26th! I am down almost 40lbs. Not as big of weight loss as some but still happy with it and so was the surgeon so I can't complain. Feeling good, having struggles some days to stay on the right path though!

Stalled progress.
Yes Babbs I do find that to be true when I can stay away from it for days. My brain likes to play games with me sometimes and it wins once in a while. Weak moments I guess. ????

Labor Day Challenge!

Stalled progress.
I am three months out too. I have days where I can stay away from sweets but still want them and others I just cave!!! Why the sweets! I used to like sweets but never this much! What is this about? Confused as you are! Not too frustrated yet but am hoping this sweet tooth will ease up!
