  1. I have a three month appointment on Friday! I was hoping to be down 40lbs by then but not going to make it. I am down 38 at least and hopefully a little more by Friday but I am happy with the loss. I was 204 at surgery time and now am 166.2 today! I am 26.2 lbs away from my goal and only had surgery three months ago tomorrow (may 26th). Hope you are all doing amazing! Let's keep this thread going! I wanted to post a pic!
  2. As always a day late and a dollar short!!! Lol I am 166.2 today! Less than the goal I set which is great but I had no idea when I set it how things would go! Yay for me, on to the next goal!
  3. I didn't even have 80lbs to lose at surgery time! My NUT put it in percentages for me. Which was helpful because we are ALL soooo different!
  4. I get this randomly. Some days it happens a lot and other days it doesn't happen at all. I have had to hold on to tables and walls at times because things get a little "black" after I get up. I checked my BP a couple times after this happened and it was fine. Not sure what it's about! Will have to see what my doc says this Friday is my 3 month follow up. Long story short you are not alone.
  5. Welcome! I hope you find this site helpful. I know I am on here daily!!! Looooove it! Interesting facts and some conversation that really gets you thinking!!!
  6. I wouldn't know what to say or do in a situation like this. I know sorry doesn't help much but I am sad for you and your loss. Big hugs from me and many more I see. Btw I think this is as good a place as any to bring this subject as this will also affect you with your journey in weight loss! Hope you are getting some comfort from everyone!
  7. I am a med/surg nurse if 15 years now working as a nurse manager at a busy level one trauma center! Magnet certified too! ????????
  8. Thank you for doing it when you can, we all appreciate your diligence and hard work in this!
  9. I do this both ways! Sometimes I have my family hide the scale when I become too obsessed! Then other times I like to see the progress which does both negative and positive for me! I love seeing it move down but when it goes up I question what I did different. I think sometimes it helps me to be more aware of what foods work well for my weight loss and which ones do not!
  10. I can also relate. I do try to pick on proteins and nothing else but once in a while I have a sweet! I try to do the right things but sometimes those snacks and cravings are too strong! Weak moments happen. I want to be good all the time but it is hard! Struggle daily!
  11. This is May 25th the night before surgery and then the one on the right was on Sunday! SW was 204 CW 167.6
  12. Day late as always! lol I am 167.6 please and thank you!
  13. I have 1-2 a day with my protein shake and a dash of Torani sugar free caramel syrup! Tastes delicious and I get 30gms protein with it. My NUT said this was ok as long as I drank enough water a day, usually not a problem for me!
  14. I stocked up too this last week! I def plan on making another trip or two before the sale is over! I drink 1-2 of them a day! I love the chocolate with a little coffee and shot if sugar free caramel Torani syrup!bit tastes as good as a fancy coffee drink!!! Looooove it! I like the vanilla too to mix it up! I started with the strawberry one but got sick of it! Great deal though!
  15. Hmm need to keep an eye on here as this is interesting!
  16. Sent my mom and dad a pic today and my dads response was " I think I would walk right past you and not know you were my daughter!" Made me tear up!!! He is the sweetest! He did continue to say we looked wonderful!
  17. Walking should help sometimes too just to get it moving. Move more. Hope it gets better soon!
  18. I was sleeved on May 26th so I am 11 weeks today: Highest weight 255.6 Surgery weight: 204 Current weight: 169.2 So I am down 85lbs overall and 31lbs since surgery! Sometimes I have slipped recently but working on staying on the straight and narrow too! Good luck to all!
