  1. I went to see my surgeon today and he told me that I don't need to wear my compression bra anymore. In fact I can get away with not wearing one at all right now. (no implants) I have been wearing bra's since I was a young girl. Now I am like a bohemian, '60's burn the bra' type of radical woman. I feel like making a daisy chain, wearing it around my head, popping some tie dye flowing clothes on and running barefoot through the woods. I kind of like it

Hang on.... have I missed an argument ? That Morphine has a lot to answer for !!

    Oh stop moaning hahahahaha
  4. This is my advice: Get your Protein in Get your fluids in Take all your Vitamins You know what you are doing wrong. Only you can change it. Best of luck.
  5. Ah yes, the wonderful 'cutting my own toenails' feeling. I remember it well. I loved the first time i flew and didnt need a seat belt extender. No going through the stick thin beautifully presented air hostess shouting, "seat ** needs an extender". The seat of shame!! Congratulations to both of you!!
  6. It might be that you are not eating enough. How many calories a day/protein/carbs a day, do you get? Kate
  7. Can you explain why you can't keep up with the water and protein?
  8. Yes but on your profile shown here it says Pre-op. It needs to be added to your main profile stats
  9. Good idea !! Lol
  10. At week 3 my NUT said to try pasta. That was the last time I spoke to her.
  11. Please can you put your surgery date on your profile once you have had it so we can tell if someone is pre or post op. <gets off soapbox> Thanks !
  12. Just saw you had posted elsewhere and that you are post op. What did your surgeon/NUT say about bread and pasta? Kate
  13. Ask for a plan from your team. They should give you the lowdown on what you are to eat and when. Do you have a date for surgery yet or are you just looking into it? Kate
  14. I had a TT (plus other suff) 5 weeks ago. I had quite a bit of excess skin but with spanx/clothes on it was hard to tell. I still wanted it and even though I am still swollen, I am really happy with the results. Kate
  15. Horrible feeling isn't it. Try eating until you are satisfied rather than 'full'. Stick to weighing your food and increasing slowly. Don't eat for longer than 20 minutes. Congratulations on the surgery and weight loss !! Kate
  16. If you have been sticking to the plan, it won't be 3llbs of fat, there could be a miriad of reasons. Don't worry, put the scales away and weigh yourself in a week. Keep to what you are doing and keep drinking enough fluids. Kate
  17. I would be honest and let your team know. Best of luck for tomrrow! Kate
  18. The site has changed a lot in the past few days but it used to be that you clicked on the persons profile and added them as a friend. Hope it works for you! Kate
  19. @chucklecheeks There is also a UK forum here, might be worth posting there too Kate
  20. Have you looked into having Patches rather than tablets?
  21. Congratulations ! Keep up the good work, you look great Kate
  22. Did he tell you that you had to lose 15llbs before surgery?
  23. Usually surgeons like you to be a year out and maintaining. As Stella said, they might do a few things at once (I had the below done all at once.) However my surgeon wouldn't do the thigh lift at the same time, as that would have been risky with me also having an extended TT. My pain was minimal and I didn't need pain relief after a few days. Don't just go with the first surgeon you see, research them and make sure you are happy with your weight before deciding to have skin surgery. Kate
  24. See the GP or PCP and get checked out if you are worried. Kate
