  2. I feel the same way. It's just not worth the pain of eating. For the most part I tolerate things ok but if I forget to extra chew or wait to drink, it hurts. So I go back to popsicles and shakes and teas.
  3. So I ran into a turnstile because I was distracted and forgot to swipe my metro card. I was rushing so I went full force into the bar and have had cramps all night and this morning a soreness. I am almost two months post op and was wondering if anyone has had any accidents after their surgery. I'm calling the dr when he opens but I wanted your input/experiences. SD 12/19/16

  10. I took 5 weeks. I didn't want to be around ppl with colds and other nasties that I could catch. I also take the train and bus to work and didn't want to risk getting bumped into. The first 2 weeks are exhausting. I was always dizzy and tired and remembering to drink all day and take my Protein and pills would have been difficult at work. I work in an office and sit all day too but even my dr said to stay home. It's just safer. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. Everyone is different so it's hard to say what you should say to your wife but for the most part and in general we just want our partners to look at us the same way they did before. In love. This surgery made me emotional and cranky. So just be patient. In the end she will be so happy and much more in love with you. My husband was so caring and attentive even when I was moody and now I'm doting on him lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. Exactly. Like today I had some ziti. 3-5 spoons is the most I can get in if that but right after the 3rd spoon I'm thirsty and need to drink but can't. It's gonna take some getting used to that's for sure Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. I thought that I could go back after 3 weeks but with the exhaustion, dizzy spells and eating only purée made it impossible. I decided to go back after I was ok'd to eat solids. But bending is a definite no-no. Talk to your doctor first. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
